Let's Study Korean: Complete Practice Work Book for Grammar, Spelling, Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension With Over 600 Questions (Beginner Korean)

Good book on the Korean language, can learn some basic words and phrases!!!!

I bought this workbook to help my Korean-American friend who's taking Korean classes at school but wanted a Korean drill book, and it's been a tremendous help (we're half-way through the book) in her Korean study!The best part is its wide spectrum of questions, such as alphabet puzzles and word-picture matching questions, and it adds fun to what might be an arduous, boring task. Although it's not a text book that teaches the bascis of Korean grammar from A to Z, they put some effort in briefly explaining the grammatical part of the study.Of course, you would need a textbook to learn it in depth - this workbook does a nice job of complementing what you learn from a textbook. One word of caution though - for some of the questions, especially for reading questions, you will be expected to open up a Korean dictionary because it doesn't have English translation, which I believe is deliberaterly designed so, to help us learn the vocabulary on our own.My one suggestion for the next edition of the book will be adding some coverage on conversations and expressions, maybe with some audio support. Hope you all can master Korean!

I am learning Korean through apps and books. This is a free-standing way to practice what I have been learning from other sources.I am enjoying the various levels that are in this workbook. It is challenging but not overwhelming yet.

It was okay, but came damaged. It had a lot of exercises for practicing korean though!

The media could not be loaded. This workbook is in my opinion very well made. It’s easy to understand for beginners like me. It talks about the basic things you need to learn in Korean. The workbook teaches you grammars, vocab, and so much more to build a foundation of the Korean language. 👍

Only problem is I am Deaf

I'm a beginner with korean, but not with Hangul and was able to see right away that they expect you to know hangul characters that they don't teach you. I've also found numerous english typos, so I can only imagine there's a few korean ones as well. This workbook definitely needs a teacher to help fill in the gaps it leaves. I'm going to use it alongside my learning textbooks as an exercise and for practice, but it is a bad resource for LEARNING the language. Not sure if that makes sense. Kind of regret buying it, but not enough to return it. Any practice is good practice. Just have to make sure not to rely on it.

So helpful for my journey of learning Korean!!!!WILL buy agian!
