Cool Pen!
The media could not be loaded. What a cool pen! I appreciate that it already came with the micro-SD card inserted and formatted and ready to go! The pen came with a small bag of refillable ink cartridges, a 4-way connector that also has a USB card reader within, a pen stand and box, and the SIM card pin/ejector pin tool to reset the pen in case of difficulties. The instructions were not too bad and fairly comprehensible. You can read the guide and follow along nicely, although there are some contradictory parts such as the best way to turn the pen ON/OFF, and about the sound/audio which I will get to later. So about the pen itself, I found that the pen feels and looks pretty smooth and has a nice metallic gloss to it. It holds a bit of weight, but not that significant that you cannot hold it with two fingers, even twirl it around too. Not too slippery as well. It is bigger than most pens but looks fancy and discreet enough not to tell it is a “different” pen. In fact, the only “odd” hole it has is the place where it lights up. The real camera is actually within the pen’s handle in that black strip that reflects off from light. This is the opposite side to where the light is! I assume it is because when you clip the pen to a shirt/suit pocket, it can record in front of you. The top button you press is to control what mode it is on, like power ON/OFF, standby, photo, and video. I wouldn’t let someone press it too many times and for the lights to go ON and have to answer to that lol (unless you have a creative response like to help find the pen in the dark or something). To actually open up the pen to write, you will need to twist the bottom cap counterclockwise and then other way to close it back. It actually writes decent enough and not too bleeding. But it is not too smooth like gel or ink and has some roughness to it, unless you press it down a little when you write and especially during the first few uses. But it adjusts after a while. To actually power ON the pen, the direction says to keep pressing for 4 seconds, and power OFF is to keep pressing for 8 seconds. But I found that holding it down instead is better than continuously pressing it (hold down 4 seconds to turn on, and hold down 8 seconds to turn off). You will know when it is ON when the light blinks blue and stays on blue. Once stays on blue, this is in “standby” mode and will auto shut off if there is no motion/activity after 60 seconds. Once you turn ON, you gotta give it a few seconds for the light to turn solid blue. Then you press once to take a picture, which will blink once and go solid again (standby). To take a video, press the button two times and will blink about three times and goes out. The recording will not leave the light ON so that it does not draw attention. To turn OFF the video, you can either press the button three times to go to standby (blue light ON) or you can hold down the pen for 8 seconds and turn it OFF, which will save the video as well. I found it better to press three times to ensure it turns OFF and be in standby, and then press and hold to turn it OFF for my satisfaction and not leave it running. And that’s pretty much all there is to it!I did find the pen heats up when it is ON. Not too much but noticeably warm on the upper portion where the handle is. I guess where the battery and camera is. And since I mention the clip handle, the recording assumes recording and photos when the pen is upright with point facing down. But with editing, even if you capture sideways, you can rotate the photos and videos. What's also cool is that the USB connector has a place to insert the micro-SD card, and you can plug it directly in the USB port of the computer! No need for a Micro SD adapter/reader when the USB has a place for the micro-SD. Three other connectors are included too (Type C, Micro, and iPhone). But, with that comes with some minor flaws. I found that once inserted in and into the computer in the USB connector, the SD card can be difficult to come out again. I had to use a thin kitchen knife to loosen up the upper metal a bit, carefully, and make a small open behind the card to wiggle it out. So be aware of this and perhaps a separate SD card reader would be best after all to ensure nothing gets damaged. But it is nice to have at least.I tried to connect to my phone on a Galaxy Note (Samsung Android), but it seems I cannot view the file like that and need to use the computer. So maybe the reader included is not compatible with all phones, but that is no big deal to me if I want to plug it into the computer to view and edit anyways. I believe Mac devices need a Type-C versus USB, so the included connector has this.Photos are decent, though a bit rough. Same with the video but captures good with enough clarity to make out the recording. This doesn’t have night vision and the brightness depends on how the lighting of the recording is.But it records a long time. I haven’t tested it out if it loop records, but I rarely needed to record more than a few hours. I would imagine it fills up to the max capacity and starts overwriting the oldest until stopped as the standard with cameras from my experience like dash cams. But keeping the video on saves 5min videos each. So, you will have multiple files of 5min videos max until you stop or max the memory storage (in which overwrites oldest video until stopped). And the max micro-SD card it can take is up to 128GB, which is well worth more than three hours of recording, depending on the storage of your card. But those video files takes a lot of space. A simple 6 second video took like 16,000kb = 16MB. A full 5min video takes about 200,000KB = 200MB! So in a regular 32GB (32,000MB) card, that makes up 800 minutes or about 13hrs of recording (5min/200mb x 800min/32,000MB). Of course, it depends on the number of things in the video and the scenery, lighting, etc…for it to take more or less space when recording.I recommend trimming or compressing the vids with a preferred application of choice to size them down. The video doesn’t pick up motions too well and blurs. The quality as I said is kind of rough/grainy for both video and photos but gets the job done and have what you want to see fairly clearly. Expect each photo can take somewhere between 600KB to 900KB, depending on how many objects are in the photos. As far as charging, it didn’t take too long and can take up to two hours or less for a full “green light” charge. When it is low on battery, it should light/blink red or just goes off. To refill the pen, you need a Phillip screwdriver to take it out and put in a new one. The exact specifications I am not sure, but you can reach out to support to get this information. This does pick up sound and audio surprisingly, even though the manual says otherwise, and quite well! And seems the time and date gets automatically updated as you plug this in. For windows, shows a "Windows Batch File" but you can update manually if need to. Note the changes will reflect on your next video(s).Also, don't force the micro-SD card into the pen and in the card reader. Let it fit in naturally before pushing it as shown with correct facing direction.Overall, a great pen with great utilities as well! Sometimes when I am out and see good scenery, I can take snaps and record too when my pen is with me. It was also helpful when I want to take shots of some notes to review later digitally as well. Or to take shots to reference for some notes. It’s not too clunky or laggy and love it so far. It works smoothly.

4K Pen Camera
The fact that it appears and behaves like a typical pen is of the utmost importance when it comes to keeping a low profile. The pen base stand is an ingenious feature that enables me to cover its presence on my desk and avoid drawing attention to itself. Because of the obvious workmanship and meticulous attention to detail, it is able to fit in without any noticeable distinction in any kind of personal or business setting. The capacity to shoot videos in 4K resolution provides a breathtaking level of clarity and detail. The high-definition video it records has pleasantly exceeded my expectations in terms of its picture quality. It works well for recording conversations, seminars, or even significant events in one's life without letting on to anybody else. The lens of the camera is tucked away at the very top of the pen, in a location that is unlikely to draw any unwanted attention. Because it just consists of one button, using the pen camera is a breeze because of its user-friendliness. I like that it doesn't need a complicated setup or any other software to be installed; hence, it's called a plug-and-play design. The storage capacity of 64 GB is more than enough for hours of recording, and I haven't had any problems related to the storage space being depleted.

Perfect for the money paid
Considering this pen is meant to be used mostly in close personal communications, the video and photo quality is perfect considering this is not a multi-thousand professional equipment. Don't expect stabilization and 5K video quality from some $65 tool. Even a photo of 4K and a video of 2K is an amazing result for such a price and form factor. The only fact that the camera is not visible at all / not recognizable is already excellent.

Doesn't work
I stuck it in the holder when it was first charged and it took a series of short videos with no prompting from me. Following the instructions, I can get it to take pictures, I cannot get it to take videos on command. I have reset it three times, assuming that pushing the pin in where the light is does a reset, the instructions do not say. I get two flashes after the video command, not three, and no video. The instructions say that if it does not work I should email them. No email address is supplied.Would be cool if it worked, it doesn't.

Update: After only being used around 5 times, the device no longer holds a charge.
Update: March 16th, 2024I've only used this about 5 times, now it seems to no longer hold a charge, but the MicroUSB port is also loose enough that if the cable isn't weighted down in the right position, it will not charge or connect to transfer data. Unfortunately, while it can normally be powered as mentioned below using the MicroUSB port, it would be difficult to use since it's defective. Repair doesn't seem to be an option.Such a shame as I was really loving this pen!It took me a while to find the lens even looking directly at it up close! Stealthy! The manual says the device does not record voice or sound, this is not true. It simply doesn't record audio/voice only, but records audio/voice with video.Pros:- Discreet- Great picture and video- Includes ink refills- Manual has very clear instructions, and has very helpful information (Please read it in full!)Cons:- Suspiciously large- Get's rather warm when recording- Audio could be better- You need to twist the tip the pen to make it write and again to retract the pen.- Maximum Record Time will vary depending upon battery life. Use the tip above for maximum record time (Videos are taken in 5min intervals).- 2K Video 2048 x 1152 @ 30fps (4K Photo)- Low FPS- No Wi-Fi (Even though Amazon says is has it)Notes:I do not believe there is a "Motion Detection" feature on this device. The manual does mention something briefly (In standby mode the device will be shutdown after the blue light flashes 5 times if there's no motion within 60 seconds), however, it doesn't record while in standby mode, or at least did not for me.One reviewer mistakenly references the MicroSD card as an "SSD", just to be clear the pen has no such hardware.Pro Tips!:1). You can read the MicroSD card directly from the pen without removing it by connecting the pen to a computer or phone using a USB cable with data transfer capabilities. You can use the included USB adapter to connect the pen directly to your phone to view the photos and video.2). You can start your video recording, then plug in the device to a USB power bank if you find your battery isn't lasting long enough. This obviously requires the bottom half of the pen to be removed, but can still be stealthy in the right setting.3). Do not use cheap no-name or instore brand MicroSD Cards. SanDisk or Kingston branded class 10 cards are recommended.4.) The manual says the pen supports up to 128GB MicroSD Cards, however, I had no issues using a 256GB. Just make sure to format any card as FAT32 or exFAT. Larger cards may not have a FAT32 formatting option available in your operating system, however, they can still be formatted to FAT32 using 3rd party software available free online. Alternatively, you can launch PowerShell as an Administrator and run "format /FS:FAT32 X:" in the Window to format the "X:" card as FAT32. Swap "X:" for the drive letter assigned to your MicroSD card.5.) Video files vary in size, but are relatively small so you really don't need a large capacity MicroSD card. Even an 8GB should have no problem recording 2 hours of video.6.) The Pen works as a USB Camera when using the MScopes app for Android!

Overpriced, used, returned item!
The item has been opened, because the box seal is not intact,(see photos) the seal is broken. It's a returned item. It's very disappointing to see a cheating seller like this. I will not pay $CDN 146.51 for a overpriced, used item!
