Simply a brilliant product. Superb protective packaging. Easy, sure-fire assembly with no tools needed. Light in weight, easy to maneuver. Beautiful modern appearance. Completely silent in operation. No moving parts, not even switches, with nothing to replace - ever. Each light is controlled separately by touch controls with three levels each. The touch control for the task light has its own subtle glow feature. The led bulbs are cool to the touch and gentle on power consumption. Excellent brightness. Neutral white light. The task light support is strong, flexible and easy to manage, and it stays in place. The unit is very economical on space usage. This is working as a piano light for an upright piano with the top up. It may cost a bit more than some lamps, but a lot less than others, and IMO this is a terrific value. Five Stars.

This lamp was wonderful - while it lasted. The lighting was bright and the arm for reading very practical. The problem is that the lamp has a long stem that consists of thin screw-in poles, and the metal joint snapped just moving it, about 3 weeks after I got it. I ordered a new one- and that one snapped in exactly the same place in the course of putting it together! One it snaps at the joint it won’t stand up anymore, so I had to return both of them. I lament it because it was a very functional lamp, but it clearly has a defect because the joint evidently can’t bear the weight of the top part. Luckily I was able to return both of them, and got credit for them.

I was looking for a floor lamp that would light up the room and this did not disappoint. The assembly was fairly straight-forward. Just make sure you connect the wires that run through the inside of the poles as you are assembling it. The LED turns on and off with a touch-sensitive switch that allows you several ways to dim the light. The light at the top of the lamp is amazingly bright. There is also a reading lamp-type light that sticks out and that too is pretty intense. That is turned on by a touch-sensitive switch as well. Moreover, the lamp has a very small footprint. This is an excellent lamp that is very bright. If I had a need for more floor lamps, I would definitely consider getting another one of these again.

see my correction below after 2 months of use--This is a lovely floor lamp and side reading light, well designed and visually attractive without taking undue space. I disagree with one remark by others: although no tools are required for assembly, threading the power wires through the rods comprising the lamp can be a pain. Because these wires were twisted for shipping they get caught in the body of the lamp when you thread it.well, like many other customers I thought this was a great product . I was wrong-- like many made today with good design, it lasted just less than two months--I need to amend the above happy note to explain that, like others have found, it broke in half, from the cheap construction and I have now to throw it away--unless you treat this one with kid gloves it is bound to fall apart within a year

I like this light. For me, it is replacing a cheap IKEA torchiere. This light is more attractive and gives off tons more light. I would buy it again especially at this price point.

This is an incredible lamp at an incredible price. The "temperature" of the light from the top completely lights up our den with a bright hue. When turned down it provides great light for watching TV, etc. I also love the idea that this is a low wattage lamp that completely replaced my halogen lamp. There is no heat and low power with fantastic lighting. Believe it or not, I have been recommending to my friends that they purchase this lamp. I never thought I would like a "lamp" enough to tell my friends about it.Updated May/2018: I have since bought two more lamps for my home. Then a month later bought a fourth one for my office. :)

I have purchased three of these lights.First one was AWESOME! Great light, easy to control, easy to assemble.Second one broke during assembly: the threaded couplings are very flimsy in design (intentionally?).Third (and replacement for second one) the top half of light did not illuminate.I have just ordered a fourth one.Will update this review after number four arrives and is assembled.

Put together the lights with no problem. The stem of the lamp is smaller than I thought it would be. Base is heavy enough to be stable. A little modern looking, but they kind of "disappear" in my room. Brushed nickel finish is nice. Love the light they provide. We replaced our old torchere lamps that had led lightbulbs in them. This light is much more diffused and spreads throughout the room better. We like it on the second to the brightest setting, so it can go brighter or dimmer if we want. The light turns on with a touch pad on the side. 4 brightness settings. Very pleased with this purchase!
