I really like the product but... the cost off software for downloading in my pc is unbelievable!!!!

I have a collection of counters, including a scintillator and the gamma scout and I can say hand on hart, this is slow, the 2 tubes don't really increase accuracy but give you bloated over the top results.You need to calibrate it and the software allows you to do so, but for that you need a exact source and another Geiger..Pros: Once calibrated it does the job, it looks nice, its very light, great software, nice little gadget.Cons: Quite slow considering that its advertised to be super fast.. the battery doesn't last very long even with sound of and lighting at minimum, needs calibrating otherwise you will get background readings twice the normal rate, I used 0.84 for calibration as it came with 1.6.Overall its not bad but the price doesn't justify what you get.I advice people that just one something basic and very accurate and very fast to try any of the radex one or Radex rd1503 products that Amazon sells, they are around half the price of this one and are great !!!
