Great Value
Pretty pleased with this. At £90 the same price as my Moto G Play which was absolutely pants. Locked up with just some basic apps on it plus the screen cracked and I think it was from being in my pocket. I just want it for basics like Facebook, messenger, internet etc. Works very smoothly and feels solid and well made. Had to manually set up some settings in terms of network provider but straight forward to do. There are only two issues I've found. As per other reviews the finger print recognition is patchy at best but not a big deal for me as I've never had it before anyway, just a gimmick for me. Also the signal is a bit weaker than other phones I've had but generally fine for Telecon, just don't always have 3 and 4G but not enough to bother me. Top value for money so if you just want the basics and aren't brand conscious I think this represents excellent value for money.

Not bad but far from perfect
Bought this phone as I needed a phone quickly and I fancied trying a bezeless one.First thing to remember is bezel is no where near as small as seen on some marketing images.I find the finger print sensor is unreliable- it works great if you try to unlock the phone say five minutes after you last used it. But if you leave it for hours it doesn't work-almost like it's gone to sleep or something. The android OS is bloatware free so doesn't use any excessive storage space, it also results in the phone being nice and quick.Camera is OK, nothing more.If you use the adaptive brightness option it only responds when the room is relatively bright, anything between slightly dim and pitch black is treated the same. Not having a notification light can get interesting- I recommend downloading 'No LED' from the playstore, easy to configure and does the job. I just wish something like that was integrated into the OS to start with.Build quality feels pretty good although phone is a fingerprint magnet.Overall not a bad item I just feel the operating system needs some tweaking to pull it up from average. On the plus side Doogee are apparently very good at updateing their software reguarly.... so lets wait and see shall we.Just remember this is a 100 pound phone, I suppose if want perfection you've got to pay for it.

Do not buy
Had this phone for two months now and it just does not work.....power button refuses to work and switches itself on and off constantly....sometimes it gets to the booting up screen and goes on and off repeatedly for hours without actually turning on.....annoyed at the fact I can't return it or get a refund ....

Good solid performer.
Short Version:==============A good performing budget smartphone with plenty capabilties to satisfy the needs of most users including game playing. Android 7 software is fluid and smooth and with features that I haven't seen on similar or even higher priced handsets, HotKnot, Snapshot which makes it a great alternative to the big brands that dominate the smartphone markets. The metal frame and bezel less screen give it an air of a premium feel and one that is likely to withstand an active life where otherwise plastic bodied phones normally are fragile. The fingerprint sensor works a treat and is responsive which Android giving the ability to have multiple finger prints stored for any hand access or even multiple users which is perfect for both of us.The option to expand the base memory from 16GB to 128GB alone is impressive however this does limit the phone to be only single sim use. To enable dual sim capabilities the micro SD does need to be removed. Either way 16GB is ample for most users even for a photo happy user like my wife who uses Dropbox to backup and save her images anyway.Unlike some Chinese smartphones, the phone will receive wireless updates (OTA) as one was automatically available when turning the phone on this morning.Screen======The phone has a clear and bright screen that hasn't had any issues with clarity or repsonsiveness when touched, especially when playing games which require instant reactions. The virtually bezel less screen looks good and in use means that no over stretching of fingers even to touch icons along the edge of the screen with the metal edge providing a great finish.Performance============The memory (RAM) is sufficient and capable of multitasking with apps running in the background even whilst playing games or running resource intensive apps like Facebook with no noticeable delays. Even using the navigation software such as Co-Pilot of Google maps is also without any concerns with map changes being timely.Playing games such as Colin McCrae Rally has been smooth and without any framing issues with screenplay being smooth and consistent. The uploaded video should give a good representation of this.Power/Battery=============Battery power is impressive giving over a days worth of intensive app happy use. All too often budget level phones tend to give up before the day is out but the wife hasn't complained once, even with her social media activities and regular making of calls, so all is good.Cameras=======The dual rear camera produces some great photos that have plenty of colour and good focus also. The camera app has plenty of modes to enhance image quality and appearance such as blurring, mono and also pro settings. Zoom is good and up until a point produces some impressive images but like most cameras the top end of zoom is a little grainy but not enough to rule out using the setting. The front camera does take a little getting use to due to being positioned in the bottom left hand corner, this I guess is due to the bezel less front panel, but none the less does produce some good images when taking selfies or even when used for video calling.Audio=====For the muscially inclined, using our favourite app PowerAmp, the phone happily plays anything with plenty of range of tones to encourage head rocking foot tapping enjoyment whether using wired or bluetooth headphones. The builtin speaker whilst sufficient for handsfree calling and alike doesn't produce the same level of quality but then few builtin speakers do on budget handsets.

I would not recommend this to anyone
Virtually impossible to get the micro sim in and once it is in can't get it out again. Really long to charge the battery. The battery overheats all the time . Shape login instead of password or pin, and after a while refused to recognise the shape. I would not recommend this to anyone.
