Mira Excel Spares Cartridge Assembly Black (903.33) Thermostatic Pre-2002 Replacement

I'm no plumber, but this part was a perfect replacement and easy to fit. Even came with instructions on installation. Has worked perfectly since and saved me a fortune having to install a whole new shower.

Bought this as a replacement for the original part. Very easy to fit, works great. Highly recommended.

First 1 leaked. National shower spares sent me a replacement and this one works perfectly. Should of ordered from them directly.

Arrived quickly and fitted in 15 mins.Shower now turns on and off more easily.BUT only three stars to Amazon because the item would cost less if purchased direct from Amazon's supplier as well as several others.

Arrived promptly, easy to follow instructions. Cheaper than paying for a plumber! 20 minutes, all done.

Excellent replacement cartridge saving the expense of replacing the whole shower unit. Instructions are in the box.Make sure the hot and cold water supplies to the shower are cut off before commencing.Once the outer controls have been removed there are only 4 screws to undo to remove the old cartridge.Note how the old cartridge sits before removing (red and blue markers).I found it difficult to switch the control at the back of the new unit from "low" to "high" water pressure using the red key provided but it did move eventually. After that just spread the silicon grease on the inlets and outlets, insert the cartridge the correct way up and secure with the old screws. There are slightly differing instructions depending on the colours used in the old units. The above is for purple cartridges.

Took old part out, put new part in and job done. The only alternative was a new shower. Simple diy job. Would recommend.

This product arrived within 24hrs!!... I was very pleased with it; I've had it fitted and it works fine.The only reason it didn't get 5stars is because when it was fitted there's a 'gap' between the cartridge and the actual dial because the newer models are designed slightly different. The way round this was to use my old dial with the new cartridge to avoid the 'gap'.Otherwise, great service and product and will definitely recommend and use this seller again.God bless :-)
