⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 🔍 Quick intro After quite liking the red berry version, I thought I'd give the blueberry flavour a go. They're very similar in terms of texture and convenience, but for whatever reason these didn't quite hit the same spot for me. 🫐 First taste The soft bake texture is exactly what you'd expect if you've had the others before. Nice and soft, slightly cakey and easy to eat. The blueberry flavour is pleasant enough, but I found it a bit weaker than I was expecting. It tastes sweet, just not especially blueberry-ish. ☕ Breakfast reality Been having these on busy mornings when there's no time for anything more ambitious. One Monday around 7:45am, already regretting getting out of bed, I grabbed one with a coffee and headed out the door. They fill a gap nicely and are handy to keep in the cupboard. Compared to the red berry version though, I found these slightly less interesting and a bit more one-dimensional flavour wise. ⚠️ Minor gripe The blueberry flavour feels quite subtle and a little artificial at times. Not bad, just not as nice as the red berry ones in my opinion. 💭 Overall Still a decent breakfast snack and I'd happily eat them again, but if both flavours were on the shelf I'd pick red berry every time. These are good, just not quite as good.
