I recently purchased a swanky new sofa & naturally I want to protect it from my naughty cats & their claws - & having seen the “shredded” mess they made of my scraggy old one needed to find something to deter them. They know they are in trouble for scratching furniture, I’ve tried deterent sprays & I’ve provided lots of scratch places and surfaces for them around the home however they still lik the furniture so I needed a solution for my new sofa. It’s fabric, one colour, no pattern so I needed something that was subtle/invisible. These clear sheets of acetate hardly show at all. In fact people who’ve visited & sat on the new sofa have not even noticed them - unless I point them out! While they’re adhesive once the backing is removed, the adhesive isn’t so harsh it would spoil the fabric when being removed as a roll of sticky stuff I tried previously did. In purchasing these I wanted something g made to stay in place which these must certainly are, plus I’ve used the provided upholstery pins as well wrapping the sofa corners back & front. While the cats continue to use a scraggy rise recliner chair (next to be replaced) there has been zero attempts to utilise the new sofa. I will be buying these again when I replace my chair - I really can’t recommend them highly enough.

Not sticky enough how ever the pins are really good to hold it in place and not too noticeable, the thickness is perfect but not enough for the price, I needed to buy this 3 times to do the job, but I am pleased with the results.

Applied easily onto the settees and bed which were newly bought. They did not mark the furniture and were barely visible so did not alter the apperance of the furniture. We have now taken them off as once the cats realised that they would just slide off, they did not attempt to scratch further.

The smaller pieces are not sticky enough and keep wanting to fall out even with the pins. All the pieces came bent down the middle which makes it harder to stick to the sofa and not bulge in places. Overall doesn’t work very well.

I was keen to try this product to discourage my kitten from ruining my sofa but it didnt stop her at all . waste of money unfortunately

When we got the new sofas we used this product. It's easy to attach. And has prevented clawed fabric.

This product was meant to protect furniture from our cat scratching the sofa. Within a few hours the sheets peeled off as the adhesive failed which rendered the product not fit for purpose. Avoid - do not buy this rubbish!

These are brilliant I purchased another set, an will buy another as they can go on doors as well.I used on the doors and they no longer scratch the bedroom door in the morning.One of my cats just sniffed them and hasn’t bothered trying to scratch the furniture.However my other cat is a rebel and she goes around peeling them and licking the plastic, she seems to be immune to anything that stops cats in mischief. But I pinned them down and now she just licks the heads, she has definitely settled more and doesn’t bother that much unless she is playing running around.Definitely a must have for any cats.Will update post with pictures as well.

Surprisingly easy to apply, just position the sheets where you want and screw in the corkscrew tacks to secure. About as invisible as you can get using a physical barrier. Probably works best with a streamlined couch instead of a surface that's tufted or has a lot of curves. And a fabric couch, of course. The sheets have a sticky back that can be re-positioned a few times.

Great product and easy to install. Bought a small kit for my side chair and it has def deterred my cats from clawing the chair. Believe me they have tried but to no avail. Now they just leave the chair alone since they can’t do any damage to it. Would def recommend this product to others. Oh and the tiny screws that come with it leave very minuscule marks, that are not even noticeable.
