Game changer
I tested this lightweight champion on a wet, cold, and windy weekend hiking overnighter. I had previously been to the same location (Freycinet National Park) with a sea to summit mat which, while new, kept deflating throughout the night and even when full, felt thin and uncomfortable. I took it back and bought the bullet on a thermarest NXT.Pros:- Comfy. The height of the mat is awesome. I felt comfortable and supported when sleeping on my side or back and even when sitting on the top edge of the mat and dangling my feet out of the tent.2. Warm. It's warmer than the car camping mattress I use! I was toasty all night. The temperature only got down to 6 degrees Celsius/centigrade, so I will need to do some more testing but so far I'm very impressed. I have a gossamer gear mat that I intended to put under the NXT if it got chilly but I certainly didn't need to use it in these conditions.3. Lightweight. At 325g without the inflation or stuff sacks, it's lighter than any inflatable sleeping mat I've owned.4. Easy and quick inflation. A firm clip over the valve using the inflation sack and your ready to go in approx 20 or "rolls.' It's easy and quick to deflate too, and packs down nice and small.I'm guessing here I'll be able to add reliable, sturdy and abrasion resistant or easy to fix but I haven't used it long enough yet.Cons1. Price. It is on the expensive side. I don't regret this purchase though. This was one situation where the price made a big difference.2. Is it still noisy? Look...maybe a bit, but the sound is at a lower pitch than the earlier model and it didn't bother me or my partner at night one bit. I guess we were camped near the beach so the waves were already making some noise, which may have made it easier to drown out any crinkling sounds for other people camped nearby. Not enough of a problem to break the deal for me but it's a small factor to consider if you're still deciding.

Quiet, confyish, light and small
Used twice so far on winter overnight (coastal landscape). Much confier than my previous foam mat from the same brand. Didn't had any crunchy noise as many complain about (a friend had the older version and she would wake me turning around on what sounded like a pack of crisps). No sliding off it with a sleeping back, which wasnone of my fear. You can sleep confortably on your side but i personnaly have pretty bad lower backpain trying to sleep either on my belly or on my back with this one.It pack small and it's light, overwall it's a great purchase, will see how well it does during my thru hike

A fly on the surface of the isomatte
The media could not be loaded. I received the isomatte today and just found that a died fly is sealed on the surface of the mat, what a bad factory condition can make this happen ??
