I left my 4.0 mm Clover Amour hook at a Dr. appointment for my mom. STUPID expensive to replace at $9.50!!! I swore the Clover set was not leaving my house any longer! This set is a great replacement travel set! It keeps everything together in the case, along with a few extra assorted hooks. The thread clippers are SUPER-HANDY! I threw out the knitting needle point protectors and plastic needles immediately. (Those are worthless junk the seller just includes for people who don't know what tools they actually need.) The metal yarn needles in the plastic bottle are very handy as well. It's a great portable kit with components that are inexpensive to replace if I forget one at another appointment!It's ABSOLUTELY Worth every penny of the $8.50 I paid for it!!!!! I would recommend this kit to anyone else who wants an inexpensive, easily portable kit to take out of the house.Would I want to spend 3 hours in a row using these hooks? No. That's why I replaced my Clover Amour 4.0 mm hook for 'at home' use.

The kit is super easy to use and gives you a little of everything you need starting out with crochet. The hooks are pretty easy to use I put them through a stress ball since my hand was cramping before. It's a sleek kit that's easy to keep with you. It's definitely a recommendation from me for beginners especially with the price point.

There are so many different sizes of crochet hooks that I can make a huge variety of projects, from doilies to cardigan sweaters and everything in between. My grandmother taught me how to crochet and it feels so good to be able to use the skills she taught me so many years ago to make fun and useful projects.

was disappointed that the storage case only had spots to secure the crochet hooks, no place to store the other small items (needles, scissors, stitch markers, etc). except loose in the case (most items were in their own tiny zip lock bag) but the bags fall out as soon as you unzip the case. A pocket in or outside the zippered case for the small stuff would have been nice to store the small items in to keep everything together. I ended up putting the small items in a separate container, other than that, it's a nice kit for crocheting
