Well made. Accurate.
Very nice and affordable lab scale.- 0 to 3000gm and 0.01gm resolution.- No dead zone at the low end, it appears to go all the way down to 0.01gm.- I don't have a 3kgm standard to test the high end, but it's linear through 200gm (the heaviest calibration weight I have that I trust.)- As you would expect, it's super sensitive to the slightest air current. It picks up my hand moving towards and away, and goes berserk when the distant HVAC vent kicks on. If I want 0.01gm resolution, I will absolutely need a draft shield.- It will weigh using about any unit you could want. I'm not even sure what a couple of them are. Oops, sorry to my nonagenarian British friends, but I see no stones.- It will also count objects, as long as they're a uniform weight.- The scale has a calibration mode. Either one point or multi point. This 3kgm scale requires 1000gm for single point, and no calibration weights were supplied. However, the scale I received appears to be well calibrated right out of the box.- Requires minor assembly. It comes with the spider and stainless steel deck disconnected from the load cell to avoid inertial damage during shipping. The spider must be attached using two cap screws, and the required Allen wrench is included (don't over tighten.) The deck sits on the spider by gravity only. Piece of cake.- The case is plastic, and feels substantial. I think any abuse that could damage it would would probably kill the load cell long before. Battery compartment in the bottom, and there are four screw type leveling feet. Also a bubble level built in the top over the power button.- It has a USB A port to connect to a computer, and the manual has a link to a driver if needed. A great feature, and not one you usually get with an inexpensive scale. No USB cable is included.- Runs from a wall wart or 9v battery. They tell you it will only run for a short time on a battery, and I didn't bother to install one (none included.) The wall wart has a US/Canada/Mexico 110v plug, and a 9v 200ma output. It uses a standard 5.5/2.1mm barrel connector, and it's center positive. Many other 9v wall warts are center negative, so don't mix them up.- The manual is in Chinglish, but a very understandable dialect. It covers several different models, but they all work basically the same way, so no confusion. It covers all aspects and modes of operation, I did not have to figure anything out myself. That's better than some native English manuals I've had to work with.- The factory packaging is a double box with two layers of foam padding. It would take some horrible abuse to damage it in there. It survived the trip from China/warehouse/UPS completely unscathed. I wish more manufacturers would pack their stuff this well.- A great scale, especially for the price.

Expensive but VERY accurate
I bought this as a kitchen scale because I was tired of replacing batteries on my other one as I use it a lot. I appreciate that this has a power cord for me to use so that I can plug it in when cooking and not have to worry about continual battery replacement. It is VERY accurate in that my old scale would only go to one decimal for ounces and none for grams. This machine goes to FOUR decimal places for ounces and two for grams. With this said, it is also VERY sensitive to movement around it if you are looking for very precise readings so be aware of where you use it if you need it for that.I do feel it is on the pricier side of what I've seen for lab scales, but I like the features enough that to me it is a good investment.

I'm impressed!
This is a really good scale. It seems to be well built and with good materialAlthough this scale is really meant for a lab, it can be used for meal prepping, medicine measurements, weighing small packages for shipment as long as those packages aren't over 6 pounds. I'm sure there are many other measurements that this scale can be used for that requires accuracy. It's an impressive scale.

Quality Lab Scale
My very positive assessment of this lab is best described as a kitchen scale on steroids. It is sizable at about 10.75L x 7.625W x 3H inches, and weighs in at almost 4 pounds (3lbs 14.8oz). The read out is very easy to read, and for weighing ounces measures to 4 decimal places vs the 1 decimal place on my kitchen scale. It also has 13 different units of measure vs simply grams or ounces on my current kitchen scale. One capability I really like and will use often is the ability to count. I tried this feature with a new bottle of vitamins. It was supposed to contain 60 minus 1 had taken or 59. To my surprise, the scale showed the count to be on 51, but after manually counting twice, the scale was indeed correct. This scale can be powered by the power cord included or a 9-volt battery, which surprisingly was not included (especially at the list price of $105 US dollars). This scale is very accurate and can be calibrated to a very high level per instructions included in the simple and clear instructions. Another feature that helps with accuracy is there are adjustable levelers at the bottom of all 4 corners of this scale. The capacity of this scale is a very significant 3000 grams or a bit over 6.6 lbs. This is my first lab scale and to me it appears to be an easy to use, quality unit with serious capabilities at a fair price. I like this scale for my purpose, and my actual rating is 4.5 stars (no battery and some minor finish issues on the corners of the top metal plate), rounded to 5 stars.

Phenomenal Accuracy
I ordered this lab scale and it's the most accurate scale i've ever used! I love how large the plate is. Plenty of roomm. In addition the data transfer capabilities makes recording data so incredibly fast. The 0.01g resolution is impressive, and the 13 unit conversions make it super versatile. Turning it on is easy, and the buttons are very responsive and the simple UI is very inutitive. Anybody who uses scales will understand immediately, its nothing foreign to a standard scale.I use it for everything from jewelry to powders, and it's been spot-on accurate. The dual power sources and easy-to-clean design are convenient too. Only downside is the calibration weight not included, but that's understandable.Overall, a fantastic lab scale for precision weighing in any setting. Highly recommend

Good Lab Scale for Soapmaking
I got this scale to replace an old and very basic scale that I used for weighing ingredients for soap making, body products, candles, etc. This scale works much better than my old scale, particularly because it's more accurate as it measures to 0.01 grams. It's also very easy to use. If you're a home crafter who needs a scale, try this one out!
