Insufficient mounting surface for the size
This is a 10x12x6 weatherproof enclosure box. 1. unlike the picture depicted on amazon, the hinge pins are nothing but a large cotter pins that are bent at the ends. 2. One of the hinge was not even mounted. 3. the mounting plate is just ⅔ the size of the box minus the area of the raised mounting screw head which gives you about 7x7” mounting surface left. I dislike returning product so I will be modifying and use this box. on the otherhand, there are two nice things about this box. 1. the swivel latching mechanism is a nice feature where you don’t need a flat screwdriver to lock or unlock the door. 2. the removeable bottom panel enables me to drill the cable grommet holes with ease.
