Great stix, great value
Love the look and feel of these. The laser etching on the grip area and the point area works great. They are super easy to wash and dry, and I have started carrying a pair with me when I am out and about. The best thing to me is that I don't have to worry about cheedle covered fingers anymore.

Lightest of three models. Good gripping ability.
I decided to invest in some chopsticks. I read a lot of reviews for different models and settled on three, with this model being one of the three and is in the middle in the photo. I noticed an Asian family friend of mine has many chopsticks and they are always using the wooden ones. The ones that is noticibly never used at their house were the stainless steel ones, so I asked why. The answer I got was not to buy them, that they are difficult to use, and that the rings around the tip was not enough to grip the food. I wanted something durable and hygienic, so going against the advice I received and learning from them at the same time, I ordered only ones that have gripping patterns that were NOT the circle rings. I am no expert and did not grow up using chopsticks, but I have many years experience using them now. Of the three models I purchased, two are stainless steel (316 stainless, 304 stainless), and the third is a high heat fiberglass model designed to withstand cooking with hot oil at frying temperature up to 400°F. I did not know what to expect. I thought the stainless steel ones would be heavy, when in fact they turned out to be as light as the fiberglass model. The 18/10 steel (i.e., 316 stainless) model pictured on the left was as heavy (if you can say that; it's actually pretty light) as the fiberglass ones, but heavier than the cheap free bamboo ones I got from a restaurant. This 18/8 steel (304 stainless) model was actually the lightest of the three and was on par weight wise with the bamboo ones. The real test came at using the chopsticks to pick up cherry tomatoes, fresh grapes, and individual grains of cooked rice; as I thought these would be the most challenging. After all, they were either going to work, or I should have listened to my friend's good advice. Surprise, these updated models actually work and easily performed! I found that the 316 stainless steel model was the easiest to use in picking up the cherry tomatoes and the fresh grapes, and while the fiberglass model had more difficulty picking up cherry tomatoes it did a slightly better job at picking up grains of rice. This 304 stainless model fell somewhere in between. Although in the middle for gripping ability, I have to give it kudos for being extra light---enough to make a noticeable difference. So there you have it, a rather unscientific, but fairly practical assessment for what works. The updated design with gripping pattern etched into the stainless steel bolds well, and apparently the type of pattern makes a difference.

Slippery but durable
Does not grip as well as wood or enameled ones but more durable and hygienic.

They're Great
They're great. They are metal and easy to clean. Not expensive. Non-slip. Not too heavy. Not too light. Doesn't roll off the table. Standard size of other chopsticks. I love them.

Previously bought - will buy again
I've bought this multiple times. They're Japanese style so not super long like chinese style and they're not square/flat like korean style. They have lines etched to grip food. Quite like that!!

Love these
Great metal chopsticks at a reasonable price. They're so much easier to clean than wooden chopsticks and don't leave a metallic taste either. Would recommend!

Chopsticks are SLIPPERY when grabbing food
Chopsticks are SLIPPERY when grabbing food GOING TO HAVE TO PURCHASE A DIFFERENT BRAND. Probably just go with the wooden ones LIKE I STARTED TO GET. I've used chopsticks most of my life JUST NOT SATISFIED WITH THESE although THEY ARE VERY LIGHTWEIGHT so that is a plus.
