Uncle Joes Mint Balls - 227g (half pound))

These mints are famous in NW England and even has a 'saucy' song written about them. I live in London these days and can't really get them down here and often met with a look of bemusement by local shop workers.

Love these sweets, they're the only sweets I eat, but that may stop soon. Reordered and when I checked the price which I hadn't done beforehand they had gone up by 25% really YES. Shame I cannot give different star ratings 5 star for the sweets 0 stars for the increase in price.

Have known these all my life - sent these to an innocent nephew to try - said his tongue exploded and his hair stood on end! There is nothing quite like Uncle Joe's Mint Balls - as they say in the North - suck 'em and see!

If you havn't tried them yet then DO. They are the favourite mint in this household. Plain simple recipe of ingredients - cane sugar - oil of peppermint and cream of tartar. Nice shape in mouth. Very therapeutic and refreshing boiled flavour mint.

Excatly as described, balls are a litle small, but pefect none the less, recommended
