Q: How wide is the elastic?

The elastic on the back end is about and inch wide. They are nice however I find all headbands do not stay in place on me. I have to put a Bobby pin on each side so it doesn’t slip up and off my head. I do like them though

The bandana headband total opening can be 11 inches wide to cover all most of your hair.
