Lures work awesome. Love that the plastisol floats. Tails flutter nicely on the bottom jigging.

Jigs are great caught a lot of crappie after a cold front bn double rigging and double up for the first time the solid chartreuse will really get them

If you can't catch a fish with all this... then try some lunchmeat instead.
When I was a little boy (long long ago) on Lake Elizabeth in Wisconsin with my Mom, Dad, older brother in a row boat around everyone else in nice fishing boats and gear. My Mom put a half slice of lunch meat on the hook while flat with the hook right out there in the open for all the fish to see. We all laughed at her saying you will never catch anything like that. At least roll the meat up and hide the hook we said. Well long story short. We caught nothing. No bass, peach, blue gills, or crappies... but she got the northern pike. A big one.Now if you can't catch something out of this nice assortment, maybe my elderly 91yo Mom can give you some pointers. My point is that the product ad may say Crappie Jigs but that maybe like saying 8 ball only in the corner pocket on the break. You have enough ammunition here to get something, even if it’s a snapping turtle, if its dinner time and they have an appetite. So don't get Crappie tunnel vision and just pick a lure. You have plenty to choose from in this kit along with a nice set of hooked spinner jigs to grab them with. You will be happy after the first catch and forget all about the 25 bucks you spent and still have plenty more left over for the next one. It's a good set in a nice carry box. Go for it.
