Since finding this I use nothing else. Tread carefully when first using - as directed - as it 'purges' the skin in early stages. Once established - amazing!

I love this stuff! I've been using Paula's Choice BhA for a couple of years now and it's transformed my skin! I used to suffer with blocked pores and bumpy skin and had scarring due to acne. The bumps and scars have completely gone! I prefer the lotion to the fluid as I can apply it with my fingers like a serum... This is my hero product and as a pro makeup artist I always recommend it to my clients!

Bought for a Christmas present

I have used this lotion and also the liquid toner version. This is far worse than the liquid as I hate the feel of the lotion. My normal lotion is Clinique moisture surge which absorbs readily and is silky, this goes on very greasy and takes ages to absorb, actually white like sun cream until it blends about 5-10 min later. Forget about foundation until it absorbs as it’ll react with the foundation in a weird way, making the foundation streak and congeal. I wanted to throw it away but as it’s so expensive, I used it for a long time, but it lasts ages, so I’m finally going to get myself the toner version since I feel I’ve gotten my money’s worth. As far as the efficacy of 2% bha salicylic acid, it has changed my skin in a good way. My skin was extremely dry and I have rosacea, and with the use of this or the toner, it has brought my skin back to life. It looks more toned and calms the rosacea and exfoliates with having to scrub, which my skin appreciates. It def has renewed my skin. I’d like to try more products but based on this I’d be scared to try the moisturisers.
