Great socks, mediocre shin guards
This is a great shin guard and sock combo. The shin guards are thin and do not provide much protection if you are looking for a heavy duty, well protecting shin guard. They are a minimalist design that slip in under your sock and have a velcro strap to keep them in place. They don't move around while running. My son prefers a full shin guard with ankle guard that goes underneath the heel for full coverage while playing. However, the value for two shin guards is outstanding if you need to have an extra pair in case the others are dirty or smelly. He thinks these guards are good enough for maybe a practice or when there is little threat of getting kicked hard. The socks included in the bundle are a great value considering a soccer styel sock costs anywhere between $6 and $10. He uses these for covering his legs during practices while he has a color matching sock for his game uniform. They are lightweight, thin, breathable. They dry pretty quickly after a hard practice.

Grandson loves these!
Send the set of soccer socks and shin guards to my 6-year-old grandson. The socks are great, and the shin guards are what he needed. Really liked that it includes two sets of socks and shin guards, means one set can be in the wash and one in his sports bag.Note that the straps for the shin guards wrap around the calf. When my kids were playing soccer, straps wrapped top and bottom so near the knee and the ankle. With these, one strap tore the first time he put them on. No problem, says his father, most kids tear the straps off anyway. LOL.

Good fit
No complaints so far. Socks worn a few times and they are still in shape and comfortable to wear. Good purchase.

A kid can donn these independently
Have you ever considered pulling your child from an extracurricular activity because they cannot get the equipment/gear on by themselves? I consider quitting soccer every time my son has to pull on his socks and shinguards. Not anymore! He can do these by himself!

Fits as expected
Having 3 boys in soccer these really come in handy. They work as intended and feel comfortable to wear under the socks.

Good starter shin guards
As with most lower-end shin guards that are seemingly endless on Amazon, these are best suited for younger players that will not put them through excessive abuse. Protection should be sufficient for smaller kids, but may not be good enough for preteen/teens. Two sets plus two pairs of socks is both convenient and a good deal at the price point.
