Got these for my dad who can't walk or bend well. Easy to put on, nice and wide and fasten without causing discomfort. Very soft and comfy.

Definitely not things of beauty, but for anyone suffering from swollen and painful feet - these are fantastic. My husband reports that they're comfortable and supportive, without being at all constricting when his feet are swollen. All round adjustment at the ankle as well as the instep ensures a perfect fit. Soles are sturdy enough to last and are non slip.

Disclaimer: "Wide" fitting is ambiguous. I'm a size 10 but with wide feet (H width), but for some reason we rarely see width sizes specified explicitly anymore.The size 10s were ok, length-wise, but they are advertised as wide and came up narrower at the toes than the old standard Dunlop slippers I was replacing. It wasn't a case of just one - big or small toe - being squashed, but a case of all my toes rubbing against each other with each step. Aside from the advertised width falling short of the length of the slipper, I liked them, comfort-wise, enough to return the 10s and try my luck with the 11s.The 11s are only slightly too long, so not really an issue for slippers, and fortunately are what I would have expected in the width for the 10s, so I'm 4 star satisfied.If you don't have wide feet, you should be fine with your usual size despite the "wide" tag.If you came here because you too, have wide feet, you might want to try going up a size.3 YEARS LATER: Still going strong. Had to insert new insoles only this year and it dawned on me I've not had to replace the slippers yet. Great value.

My husband has dementia so easy for him to put the slippers on as has a Velcro opening

As my husband has dementia and very swollen feet I tried many pairs of slippers before finding these. They fit and the nurses find them easy to put on. He seems to be much more comfortable walking in them. The heel fastenings are an added benefit. Such a good price too.

Purchased for my dad however the slippers which where brought for a reason flap over at the top I felt did not have anough flap for slight swollen feet other words tight fitt will look at local foot ware shops to buy these just touch but no room to fasten right over

Only downside is the toe area was a bit narrow for my dad who has swollen feet otherwise they would have been perfect

Perfect slipper for those who suffer with swollen feet as the slipper can be adjusted at the front as well as the back for a comfortable fit. Good quality and well made and excellent value for money. No more struggling to get slippers on and off. Excellent!

Había comprado otras similares, de otra marca, para mi padre, que es muy mayor y tiene muchas dificultades al calzarse, con lo que siempre lleva los zapatos en modo “chancla”. También le compré estas de Dunlop que, desde luego, han ganado por goleada.Si son para una persona mayor y/o con problemas cognitivos o con problemas de coordinación, ojo con la ubicación de los velcros, al elegir las zapatillas. (Lo digo por experiencia: con las otras que compré, aunque el sistema era similar, mi padre no se aclaraba). Aseguráos de que van a ser capaces de colocárselos, a no ser que se los ponga otra persona, claro.Estas zapatillas son muy sencillas y están muy bien pensadas. Estéticamente no se ven ortopédicas (las otras que compré, sí). Son bonitas. Están hechas con esmero, para que no se vea una cosa aparatosa ni eso mismo: ni ortopédica.Son para estar por casa pero resultan tan cómodas y sujetan tan bien el pie que mi padre ni se las quita: sale a caminar con ellas.Tienen un velcro en el empeine y otro en el talón. Son lo amplias que se precise, ya que la anchura se ajusta mediante los velcros.No resbalan ni aun en terreno resbaladizo y mojado y la suela es muy cómoda.Me parecen una opción excelente para personas con dificultades al calzarse, ya sean ancianos con dificultades para ello -como mi padre- o en recuperación de lesiones, para pies hinchados, etcEstoy muy contenta con esta compra. Así que no dudo, lo más mínimo, en recomendarlas y en darles sus merecidas cinco estrellas.
