I have a 90s era solid oak desk that stands floor to ceiling and is a corner desk with two wings. It's huge, it's heavy, and has a lot of drawer and counter space. But, I found myself desiring something a little more open, minimalist, and simple. I found this desk and decided on it. I'm glad I did.First and foremost, I looked at the instructions and took an accounting of all the parts. Could you believe it - they were all there, and it comes with a hand-held screwdriver. For that alone, this review deserves more than 5 stars. The instructions are not detailed but the diagramming of the table in its various steps is enough to get started.From beginning to end, putting the desk together myself took about 15 minutes. I ended up with a wonderful and solid desk where I could sit with a pen and paper and write a letter. No clutter, nothing else around me. The color is very nice against the light gray of our home.I enjoyed putting this project together on my own. Usually, I enlist my husband and make these our little quality time projects, but I found myself anxious to put it together as I had just the right place for it.The pocket that comes with the desk is cute - it fastens to the desk with the nuts and bolts that come with the set. Now, to look for a nice piece of art to hang over the desk and complete my area.Get the desk, you won't be sorry.

I like everything about this desk. Many times the metal components will be flimsy, or the tabletop will appear cheap, but neither problem in this case. I feel like it is a really low price for such a useful desk. There are not a lot of parts - a good design that is really easy to assemble. The components are labeled clearly, and the instructions show the part letters appropriately. I really like the cable pass-thru cover, and I was able to get two power cords thru it, including the balun on my laptop cord. I really bought it for the cup-holding receptacle, though! This will help me avoid an impending problem - it's only a matter of time before your laptop takes a drink from that big soda cup you have on the desk. A nice mouse-pad was thrown in as an extra bonus, and I don't have to mention how useful the headphone hook is. There are numerous options for locating this item where it's most useful. Bottom line, this is a really, really, good desk for gaming, accounting, surfing or whatever. The only weird thing about it is the low price - how do they do it?

This desk is good for the most part.It is a typical desk with typical instructions. They are all HARD to understand and put together. It doesn't matter how they try and make they "simple" to put read, they just aren't! It came with so many parts and pieces. Then it jumps around putting stuff together. I tried to do it by myself before my husband got home so he wouldn't have to, but that was a fail.So when he got home, he pulled out the power tools and it did go a little faster, but it still took a while.Once together it was a nice desk.I like the different little nooks for different things to keep things organized, but I'm OCD about everything having its own place. It's not a big desk for perfect for my craft room for my computer and my iPad, and all my designing stuff.It went with all my farmhouse theme decor in my craft room, plus like I said it didn't take up much room, when I already have a lot of other things in there for other machines.You can't put a lot of weight on it, just the simple things, but if you're looking for something that will help you with just a few things and keep you organized, this is the desk for you.I am part of the vine program and received this product in return for my honest and fair opinion..

Easy to assemble if you have any assembly experience. Love the black-and-wood aesthetic, matches a lot of my other furniture. Great for a part-time home office. Sturdy and reliable.

This is a great little desk which is the perfect size for the area in which I needed it. It's sturdy enough to hold my computer and monitor and a few basics. I love the side pocket and extras that provide a bit of additional storage since there are no drawers. It was a bit time consuming to put together, but I managed once I had a little assistance. Directions were mostly pictures, but it got the job done assemblying the desk.

SWEET! A Rustic attractive desk with an extra fabric organizer. It is well made with a solid build. I appreciate the cup holder and tablet slots. They work as intended. Assembly was fairly simple for the most part. It has a spacious surface with plenty of room for necessities. The headphones hook is versatile and great for hanging a number of things. It’s an excellent desk option. I’m happy with it! I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to try it!

This desk took me maybe 15minutes to put together. It was super simple and the instructions are super clear to follow. It is a good sized surface for my intended use, and that is a sewing machine, with a cutting area. I quilt and do small projects that do not require a huge table, so this is perfect size for my personal needs. My office is 7ft by 12ft, with all my crafts plus computer setup, so I needed something to be big enough to work at, yet small enough to leave space between work areas. This does the job perfect. It also has enough room underneath for me to put my 3 drawer plastic containers I keep certain sewing items in, and that gives me 9 drawers for storage that tuck perfect underneath. The reason I deducted a star, is there is so e sort of fibers all over this top, and despite cleaning it several times, I am still able to rub my hand on it and find more. At first I thought it was just dust like particles from being manufactured, but since it's not going away, I am beginning to wonder if it's the surface not bonded correctly and coming up. But, this is the only flaw I've come across, and i am not 100% certain its the surface coming up, so I would actually give this closer to a 4.4 star. I just simply round up or down. Overall, a decent desk.
