I service iPads and these suction cups worked out well for me today. I used them on a iPad mini to remove the digitizer. The iPad mini is a hard unit to work on and these tools were a blessing making the job easier. Once applied to screen, a solid suction took place and bonded tight. Heat was applied and I pulled the suction cup up lifting the digitizer enough to place the picks between the base. This tool was a big help for the removal process. Furthermore, this tool was a bigger help mounting the digitizer. Mount both suction cups diagonal, pull screen up and remove the cellophane from double sided tape. Use the handles to position screen and it will align perfectly to the base eliminating fingerprint contact to the LCD and digitizer. I wish I would of found this tool sooner and I highly recommend it.

I bought these to pull a dent out of a fender, and the suction is simply not strong enough. They pop off with just a modicum of force. I'm sure they're fine for lifting tablet and smartphone glass, but they're not good as dent pullers.

I used these to pull a dent on my kayak, and they worked perfectly. As long as the surface is smooth and not more than slightly curved, these guys can find purchase and help you pull a dent (with hot water to soften up the plastic). Once you have em latched on, they can be shimmied across the wet surface into position to do their job

I don't know where negative reviews are coming from. My experience is that the suction is super tight (I used light coating of olive oil on car ding), and the handle is durable. It reduced a small ding by about 40%, ideally if it was smaller I believe it would concentrate the suction on a smaller area and perform better for small dings. But I knew up front that this was slightly larger than what I needed. I expect to use these suction cups for numerous purposes.

The suction power is not the product description would make it sound.I tried removing a dent on my car bumper and it didn't work. The black rubber part comes out of the yellow holder and then pops off the bumper.

It worked well holding my hot galaxy s6 while I was using the other to try and pry the back case off without breaking it. I don't know what else you'd use these for but they worked well for what I bought them for.

Was not nearly strong or heavy duty enough to pull a small dent from the hood of my Tahoe. It does however seem like it would be perfect to lift glass from a cell phone, that just was not my intent for it.
