excellent for painting
this hake brush is fantastic for painters such as myself who like to paint relatively quickly. great results and highly recommend to anyone who is interested in trying it out for themselves. you will use it a lot because it does stuff that the flat brush cannot. fabulous results.

Nice enough Hake brush if you want to try out this type of brush
This would have got 5 stars if some of the hairs were not left on my paintings. My masterpieces are ruined :). Overall works great and I like the amount of water it holds etc. I got what I paid for and a little bit more. Great for beginners.

This arrived quickly and is beautiful to hold - lightweight but with a nice balance
Bought to assist with the application of light sensitve material for alternative process photographic prints after getting tired of the school's brushes which had been used and abused by countless other students. This arrived quickly and is beautiful to hold - lightweight but with a nice balance. Time will tell if it will hold up to teh chemicals I intend to use if for, but looks like it will be just the thing having no metal to corrode into my prints!UPDATED: worked perfectly - delighted.

Decent cheap hake.
It really does smell of damp goat when wet, so I know it's goat hair. Not the highest quality hake you can buy, which was obvious by the price, but seems good enough and looks to be made well enough that it'll last a fair while.

Great brush
Used for applying shellac to wood. Great finish and easy to apply. Has lasted many months of use and still in good shape.

Great brush as its goats hair it's more flexible than bristle or synthetic. Excellent for covering vast areas of canvas. Great price too.

Five Stars
Once you've got used to it, and what can be done with it, then it seems fine
