ScalaRider packtalkduo Security Intercom and Aid in the event of a power failure x2

Bought this to replace the Solo that I had previously. I have to say, even using this in a solo requirement that it is definitely a remarkable step up in technology. The call quality is so much clearer. My lovely wife can attest to the amazing call quality even at motorway speeds.Despite having not very many buttons, it packs in a lot of functionality that isn't complicated to find your way around. The radio is a god-send on the way to work, or the music played from my phone if there is no reception.But the most important part of all of this is the DMC Mesh network. Add more devices to a group and it really comes into its own. I used this earlier in the year touring the South of France and the voice quality is outstanding. Even through the worst of weather this works a treat. Motoring around mountain roads and still be able to maintain a normal conversation is truly amazing. Not more ranting into your own helmet at a missed turn or despairing at other drivers. The ability to talk brings a whole new calm to the occasion. Especially as it covers such a long distance too.

Best on the market by far. Especially for group rides. Automatically rejoining party's with the mesh network is amazing.Yes they are complicated (feature packed). Yes you will need to carry the handy reference in your phone or something. No you wont be able to have a crystal clear conversation with your mate while riding at 130+mph in an open face helmet.But if your expectations are realistic... these are spot on. My flip top lid I can hold a conversation at motorway speeds and unless they are expecting it the caller wouldn't even know I were on a bike! "Okay google" is also a lovely feature.

It doesn't matter if you ride the bike for hours of just for commuting, that's a must have.The quality is very good, it pairs with different brands intercom, so you can be in touch with other riders enjoying the ride, listening to your fav music or answering the phone just using your voice.Completely happy with it.Be aware, the sound quality is good, but now you could fit the JBL speakers in your helmet, so i guess in this case the sound would be better

Used on a 10 day trip across Europe with 6 other Scala owners. Connecting was seamless and when the groups broken up and rejoined they just coped. No drop outs, the DMC mesh really is self healing.Exactly what you want from a comms unit.Only downside is that you can't use it and charge it at the same time, bit of a pain on longer days. Need to remember to charge it when you stop for lunch!

love it easy to install and set up just got it for music and waterproof so far

Good product. Battery stands long time. May be better quality of sound in Bluetooth mode when I get faster.
