Rather than a comprehensive technique and instruction manual, it is a collection of several projects by individuals with little practical advice or explanation.

I have many books on stop motion animation, all good in their own way. This book covers the art of stop motion very well in a clear manner with plenty of photos and diagrams.

Great, well-organized book for all ages. My 11 yo son is very into stop motion animation. He had a research paper for school to do on the subject. This book gave a nice overview of the history and techniques. It had a modern twist with the LEGO and YouTube uses. My sob got all his research as well as some practical techniques about how to do better work.

Great book, nice pictures

This was a gift for my 14 year old son. He is enjoying this book. Full of great tips, as well as, entertaining to read. Definitely glad I purchased it for him!

Its a great book very informational I highly recommend this book for any beginners stop motion animators. It teaches you about soft wares different types of cameras and how to set up and build sets and characters. I highly advise this book. Anything and everything about stop motion animation is in this book!!!!
