Bosch Wiper Blade Rear H409, Length: 400mm – Rear Wiper Blade

I used sellers online tool to select the wiper I believed I needed. It turns out to be too short despite their page confirming it would be correct. I contacted the seller who said I shouldn’t trust their information and that I should measure it and refused to exchange it at their cost. They have subsequently changed their page to caveat their advice, clearly knowing they have made an error. Although it still says it will fit my car!Also product turned up and I query if it was brand new. Box completely damaged and held together with brown tape.Avoid seller is my advice.

I bought this to replace a blade which was starting to streak and smear. I had previously changed it at an Aldi dealer who calmly relieved me of £22 inc of VAT . I decided I would replace the next change by myself( I am average DIY). I chose Bosch as it is a well known make. The rear wiper blade is held by a pair of plastic lugs on my A4 Allroad that slot into a plastic counterpart attached to the wiper strut . The car manual was very not helpful but I worked out that one needed to grip the plastic attachment of the blade squeeze slightly and pull out . Replacement was easy as the lugs slotted into plastic strut counterpart when pressed down aided by a smear of Vaseline So far they are doing a good job approximately 3 months after purchase

These are a great direct genuine replacement, took about 2 minutes to fit to my 2013 Audi A4 avant and what a difference they have made from my old ones.

Headline seems obvious but how many things have you bought that said this will fit your vehicle only to find you need the adaptors or extra clips included with the item. This arrived in well structured packaging and fitted first time in seconds. From delivery, to on the vehicle took approx 5 minutes. The wiper was identical to the one fitted except for it being in a lot better condition.

Installed well, works well silently cleaning but after a month it fell away from its clip (not the bit I attached to the arm, but the clip it came attached with). Luckily was still just dangling down the car and was able to snap it back, but likely will fall apart again. The clip grip is not good enough

Incredibly easy to fit, performs well so far, only criticism would be that you have to replace the whole thing, rather than just the rubber. The end lugs break when you take them off else it would be very possible to save on the waste of replacing the whole thing. (you could in theory do this if you could get hold of the right rubber, it's the front wipers that are literally impossible to refurbish).Big criticism would go to Amazon who managed to deliver this 30cm long package in a box that would literally fit 25 more in it (photos attached). What a complete wast of resources. Come on, it might be recycled but this is absurd.Oh, and the wiper box arrived damaged, despite the ludicrous packaging (though I think it was the sheer volume of packing materials that caused the damage in the first place, ironically!)

A reliable make at a competitive price that was delivered quickly. Far cheaper than paying a garage or, even worse, an Audi dealership who will usually require one of your kidneys, as a downpayment. Very easy to fit and, so far, appears to wipe away water from my rear window so, overall, a good purchase.

We have not long owned the vehicle, but we noticed the original blade was so worn it was about to damage the glass! The supplier sent us a rear wiper blade based on the vehicle' Registration No. The blade was in a BOSCH box, but the fitting was nothing like the original on the vehicle.Because of the urgency of the replacement, we decided we must make it fit, and did so by carving a piece out of the plastic with a STANLEY KNIFE to match the original!!!But never will we buy off these guys again!
