SyntraxMatrix 5, Mint Cookie Powder, 5lbs

Let me start off by saying that I've used at least a dozen different brands of protein till date, and not one of those other ones comes close to the Syntrax Matrix, in terms of flavor and quality. Received it just yesterday, popped open the bag, and wow - what an aroma! Couldn't wait to try it so got my blender bottle out, added a big scoop of this protein, unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk, some water and crushed ice - absolutely awesome! Blended easily, great consistency (not powdery when drinking) and none of that god awful chalky taste you get from some of the other powders. The great thing is that the flavor is exactly what you think a Mint Chocolate shake would (and should) taste like, and has no aftertaste either. It is not sweetened using aspartame (known to cause cancer in the long run) and that was another huge positive for me.After drinking it, I did not feel any discomfort or at all bloated and did not have any other sound effects that indicated my digestive system was not happy - which probably indicates how pure the protein being used is. Very impressed by the quality of the protein, flavor profile, mixability, and of course the unbeatable value you get. Would definitely buy again.

Good flavor

I've been using Syntrax Matrix for over 8 months. Until now I was using the regular cookies and cream and decided to try the Mint Cookie to change things up a bit. I really love this product, it mixes easily in water and yet I enjoy the fact that it also has some pieces that still maintain their cookie texture. It's an amazing treat that has so many benefits.I'm a fitness professional (Personal Trainer/Fitness Boot Camp Instructor) and I have a rigorous schedule between the folks I work with and my additional workouts. I like to mix my protein supplements throughout the day and especially like using these mixed protein source supplements. Syntrax Matrix is a very satisfying product in that I feel nourished and it fills me up without leaving me ever feeling bloated.I intend on using this product daily as part of my supplementation program for as long as they continue to make it!Highly recommended!

I tried this out as my local supplement store raised prices. I took two scoops a day and went to the gym 3 days a week. I have added about 10-40% improvement in strength in a month WHILE lifting weights.Pros:Mint Cookie tastes goodMix of proteins5lb bag lasted a month taking about 3 scoops a dayMixes well but not perfectlyCons:I now have to be careful with the amount of dairy protein I consume over time. Too much of it leads to gas.It does mix well but if there is a clump, personally I find it's a little gross.Overall, very pleased with price and performance.

I give this a solid 4 stars. I have tried Syntrax Matrix 5.0 in perfect chocolate and most recently the Mint Cookie. Both flavors are great and mix easily (the chocolate more than the mint). I really like the chocolate "cookie" bits in the Mint Cookie but I think that may be what makes it seem like it doesn't mix as well as the other kind. The powder sort of packs itself around the "cookies" but it's easily fixed with 2 seconds of a stick blender (I usually use a just a fork). Also, it is less versatile as far as what you mix it with. I found with the chocolate I could mix with hot water for a "hot chocolate" drink, almond milk, and even in a berry smoothie and it was super tasty. The mint cookie only really tastes great when mixed with milk, so I will have to experiemnt for other options to keep from getting tired of it too quickly.As far as a the product itself, I feel it does exactly what I want it to. It fills me up and gives me enough energy to make it from morning to late afternoon. It is quality undenatured protein to supplement my intake and I appreciate that it is low in carbs/sugar without using aspartame which gives me a headache. I plan on trying more flavors in the future.

don’t order it from GNC ! The box arrived with a puncture which went through the bag in the box and I was told not their problem !GNC doesn’t care about Customer service.

I love Matrix Mint Cookie!!! I have this for breakfast every single morning. Mixes great in water and then I add crushed ice. I totally panic when I start running low. It was back ordered at my regular supplier so I was super surprised Amazon had lowered the price and shipped it the same day. Others have mentioned that it doesn't mix well and occasionally I do have some that sticks on the SS ball in my mixer cup but that only happens when I increase the powder and don't add enough water. They also might be thinking about the tiny cookie pieces that are floating around.This is made by Syntrax. Try their other products that are more like a crystal lite. They are low calories, no fat, no carbs, 23grams of protein and they mix great in water. My favorite is the Lemon Tea. I drink at least 3 of these a day.

I decided to purchase this protein drink after a couple of my co-workers recommended it. They had both gone through weight loss surgery and were given this protein drink to use to before and after surgery.This protein drink is less powdery tasting than all other protein drinks that I have tried (and I have tried a lot). This mint cookie flavor is by far my favorite! In the Matrix flavores I have tried chocolate, peanut butter, and this mint cookie flavor. The mint cookie is not only my favorite but also my co-workers and we all have such different taste so this tells you how well this drink really does taste.I would recommend freezing the shake first. The taste is much better when it is really cold and the thickness created from mixing them makes it seem more like a frozen treat. If you are wondering if this shake will make you feel full.. It will! If you are disciplined enough to follow a plan this shake really does help with results.
