this occupancy sensor is a fantastic product that delivers on its promises.
Excellent Energy Saver!I purchased the Lowenergie Occupancy Sensor on 10/06/24 and have been very impressed with its performance. The 360-degree PIR motion detection is incredibly reliable, ensuring lights turn on promptly when I enter a room and off when I leave.Installation was straightforward, and the adjustable time delay settings allow me to customize the sensor to my specific needs. I've noticed a significant reduction in energy consumption since installing it, especially in areas that tend to have lights left on unintentionally.Overall, this occupancy sensor is a fantastic product that delivers on its promises. Highly recommended!

Works fine when wired properly
Bought and fitted a few days ago, after deciphering a few decades of mismatched wires (not the sensors fault) I managed to get it working as intendedBeen working fine since, it's very sensitive, our bathroom is at the top of the stairs and with the door open it activavtes around half way up the stairs! (this is adjustable)Lux sensor for daylight sensing so doesn't activate during sufficient light, again adjustable along with durationI've found it's a constant motion sensor so for a bath or shower, aslong as your moving now and then it will stay onRed and green led to show it's powered but not active, or activeAltogether a good little unit so far and will probably buy more for other rooms in time4 stars due to it being something I wouldn't recommend trying if you don't know what your doing.. And it being new I can't judge longevity as yet

No more thumbing in the dark.
This little device solved a very impractical problem that I've put up with for years. My dinning room has a door in opposite corners, but only one has the light switch next to it. This resulted in me having to make at least one journey every night in the dark. This was never rectified, due to having to rewire the circuit by taking up the floor above the dinning room and cutting a channel into the wall. This device which was connected via the light celling rose, allows the circuit to be left on. The light automatically comes on and turns off after no movement is detected. There are 3 settings to adjust for sensitivity, the amount of ambient light before activating and duration the light stays on after no movement is detected. The unit looks no more out of place than a smoke detector. The only issue was for my installation, I had to extend the wires slightly. Also the compartment for the terminal block is a little tight. It serves the purpose of being energy efficient when nobody is in the room, and for me it means no more walking into the table or tripping over something I have left on the floor.

Works great for under the stairs
Bought this to make the lights under the stairs turn on when someone opens the door. It works great, now people don't need to fumble behind coats to turn the light on which is great. The instructions are really simple to follow so any competent DIYer should be able to install this without a problem. Build wise, the unit seems decent enough, my only comment is that it would be nice to have a side entry for the cable as I had to hide the cables in the wall and bring it through the back but I knew that at purchase.

Lasted one week.
I bought two of this in 2022 and they are still going strong. Recently bought another two for new house extension. Both installed by qualified electrician and both failed after just one week. Clearly not the same product as I had bought 3 years ago! Returned and refunded with no quibble. When ordering, there is an amber box on the page stating ‘frequently returned item’, so just beware they don’t appear to be up to standard unfortunately.

Works well but check the wiring first.
Easy to fit, especially using Wago connectors (which are extremely safe and a real game changer). However, as stated here, you need a neutral connection to operate the sensor. The pull cord switch that I was replacing only had a switched live ( + positive) feed. However, it was mounted on a suspended ceiling and I was able to locate the neutral connection and run a spur to this PIR switch (blue wire). Please note that you also need to be able to determine the live side/wire on the switch that you are replacing so that you can connect it to the input/brown wire on the PIR switch. The connection for neutral at the lights obviously already exists, therefore the wiring diagram does not need to be followed for that connection.

Easy enough to fit, good function
Fitted in garage after getting sick of family members leaving the light on again and again!!!Clear instructions, could just do with longer wires on the unit to make it a bit easier to wire in.
