This is an excellent ice machine!
I love this ice machine! It is smaller than my last one but it makes ice twice as fast as my last one. Not only is the ice quality excellent, but the machine is so quiet and so easy to operate. The icing on the cake is the Smart App that notifies you when the ice basket is full and also when you need to add water. I purchased some Igloo ice bags and as the ice basket fills, I dump the ice in the bag and store the ice in the freezer.Just a note, when I set up this machine, I was getting an “add water” alert although the tank was full. I read that the water line can have an air pocket which would affect the sensor. I turned off the ice machine and gently tilted it back and forth. I restarted the machine and I have not received that alert again until I really did need to add water.

Soft crunchy munch y
I purchased this ice maker to replace the fridge ice maker. This was a good solution. I dump the ice into my fridges ice bin. I just keep filling the box. It ice is bullet sized Small medium. And large. The ice consistency is soft, crunchy and fluffy. It’s soft easy to munch on.

Small and so convenient to have.
Fantastic machine! It makes ice so quickly. I purchased this about a year ago and no problems so far.We have it in the office at school and probably refill it once or twice a day depending on how hot it is outside.

Issues resolved
UPDATE: Govee customer service is great. They immediately reached out and replaced the unit. The new one is so far so good. I still can't figure out the app but that's a me problem. So if you have issues just let them know and they will help trouble shoot!update: absolutely haaaaate it. Nothing but issues.I haven't even had this going for a full 24 hours and the whole tray where the cubes form has already solidified into a solid brick, stuck, rather than drop cubes. Not a good sign. I will only try for a week and then I'm sending it back or kicking it into the trash can.Very angry since I thought buying a little bit more expensive, labeled with a known brand, would yield a better product but honestly the whole machine seems almost identical to the last, cheaper, one I had that failed(different brand marked on front)

GREAT MACHINE
This is my second ice maker. The first one i purchased didn't have a self clean option but it still works. I decided to buy a new one that had the self clean option and im 100% happy. I gave the other one away. Great product and it makes ice pretty fast. Love it

Love it!
I absolutely Loveee my ice maker. I have had it for almost 1 year and it's still filling my glass. The ice maker on my fridge gets jammed sometimes , so this is just the perfect backup. Great for events and hosting.

My GoveeLife is an ice-making beast
I bought this ice machine when my ice maker in my refrigerator stopped working due to a part that is no longer available. I still have the huge ice drawer in the freezer and the in-door ice dispenser--I just needed the ice. Enter GoveeLife. By my measurement, it takes nine cups of water to fill it to MAX, which lasts me about a week. I use the large "cube" size (shaped more like ice bullets). I use filtered water and always empty out the ice maker between uses, so the ice always tastes fresh and delicious. It makes nine of the largest-sized "cubes" at a time, and cranks them out every 5 minutes or so. I let the first batch of "cubes" drop back down into the water to chill the water so it takes less time to make future batches (plus the first batch can be quite wet and freeze back together into a clump if you're not careful to shake your ice drawer every time you add a new batch of ice). I put each batch of ice into the freezer drawer as soon as it drops in the ice maker, since the ice maker itself isn't refrigerated and the ice can start to re-melt if you don't catch it within a couple of batches. Don't bother to buy the ice maker cleaner solution since it comes with directions for how to clean it using white vinegar that works beautifully (I mistakenly used nine cups of white vinegar to clean mine the first time which was not necessary--next time I'll use more like 1 cup). The main thing I don't like about this ice maker is how difficult it is to get the last of the water out of the device when you're done making ice for the day. The plug in the bottom is very difficult for me to remove, and you're cautioned in the instructions not to turn the machine upside down, so it's very awkward and messy trying to remove the water using the plug. So I got a long straw and just suck the water out from the top, then wipe the inside of the machine clean and dry. I leave it open for a couple of days to dry before I close and cover it until next use. There are areas where water goes in the machine that are not visible or reachable and I worry about getting mold in those areas like happened with coffee makers back in the olden days, so I really hope it's all drying out between uses. Running vinegar through every once in a while should help also. I really love this ice maker--it saved me having to buy a new refrigerator just to be able to have an ice dispenser. Oh, I'm a sucker for anything that talks to Alexa, but truthfully, the machine is so well programmed that it turns itself off if it runs low on water and other conditions so I've really never had occasion to talk to it via Alexa, but I have tested the feature and it works well, both with the mobile app and Alexa voice.

Would buy again.
My family loves this ice machine. The holding bin isn’t the biggest but we just transfer into a bowl in the freezer. Minimal noise level, very easy to use & very fast production time.
