Great books
I LOVE this series. They are written from the perspective of a child in that country, with a variety of family types represented. They all include an overview of what their day is like, what school is like, as well as cultural, historic, and geographic info, with some pronunciation help where needed. I like to read the same one every day for a week, and my son notices and latches onto a new detail every time. We often end up Googling some question that the text brings up.

Just Enough for Kids
Bought a couple of these for my son’s birthday party favors as the theme is Tayo the Little Bus. In this, we follow a little South Korean boy that talks about different cities, including his own. Also, what they eat for breakfast, what they in learn in school, etc,. It’s enough information for the little kids to get a curiosity spark.

Cute reader. Nice addition to series.
Nice plug for the winter olympics. Horrible mistake in naming the body of water Sea Of Japan instead of East Sea. Also the Japanese flag pictured was not the one used for Japanese occupation, it shows the modern flag instead. Also was surprised the cemetery had a western style tombstone instead of the “hill”. I am being picky.

Fun, but advanced
This is a little harder for my son than I thought it would be, but he loved learning about S. Korea.

This is a great way to spark his curiosity
My 6 year old loves this book. This is a great way to spark his curiosity. Now my son is asking a ton of questions about where mommy and grandma are from.

Book for kids about Korea
Great book that went along with our talk about South Korea and the culture there. Pictures were great for the kids.

I am a Korean. This book is very useful to introduce to my family and friends who haven'tn't been in Korea. The reason I put 4 stars, it is not the sea of Japan(especially introduce Korea). We call the sea of east.
