Shows what can be achieved from humble beginnings if you have the determination plus hard work mentality to rise up above prejudices of all types. Absorbing read. Full admiration for JoJo.

Easy to read and interesting. This book recounts his life from childhood and certainly highlights the difference in cultures with his life growing up with 3 families, for various reasons in South Africa. The love and stability the family, especially his mother, gave him must have stood him in good stead for his future perapetetic life. Still reading it but find it not only a good read but I genuinely nformative.

I love watching JoJo dance and read this book with curiosity. A sincere revelation of his life and journey to today. Heartfelt. Warm. Emotional. Kind and thoughtful. A passionate man and cancer who beat the odds stacked against him from boyhood.

What a lovely read. I have been a think fan for as long as I can remember. Loved you from the first time I saw you dance. Now I have read your story. I love you more and admire your stamina. But most of all, I think with your honesty in this book, you will give people an idea of hope for the future and a role model for them to succeed. Well done Jojo xx
