Everywhere Babies

This is my absolute favourite book to read to my child. It has a few American-isms which might annoy some, but I just change the words (e.g diaper). It's a lovely story about all of the things babies get up to and do. My child loves looking at the illustrations which represent a wide range of family types and care-givers who are mentioned in the story too. If you are a family who is not a "typical" make up it is a great thing to see your family represented this book - not just for yourself, but for your kids too. Even if you aren't, what a great way to introduce your children to diverse family structures and ethnicity.

The best thing about this book is that when you are reading it your baby is enjoying the beautiful pictures and clever rhymes but you can enjoy the camaraderie of the adults in the pictures going through the same things that you are and knowing that it’s not all rosey and you’re not alone. Especially helpful during a pandemic!

Nice rhythm to the book which makes it enjoyable for little ears :)

My 2 year old absolutely loves this book. Beautifully illustrated with diverse families, it always provides lots of details to talk about beyond the lovely rhyming text. Stands up well to the baby's mauling as well as the toddler's reading.

Lovely book with beautiful illustrations. Only negative is that it is an American book so some words are not words we would use in UK, for example diaper and stroller, which I didn't realise when I bought the book. However the book is great and my young daughters love it!

Our 4 year old loves reading this to our twins and they look looking at the illustrations. A really lovely board book.

As noted in previous posts, it's an American book using American English (which was fine by me since I'm an American in London). It's my go to new baby gift. The illustration capture the varied types of families that babies are born into, and I appreciate that the babies came in all shapes, sizes and colors - more childrens books need this.

I took a cue from my niece who was obsessed with this book as a toddler and bought it for a friend for her baby shower. Baby loved it too! Now every single friend of mine gets this book as part of this baby sower gift. It’s simple, fun to look at and a great conversation starter with the kids.

I give this book to the grandbabies of my book loving friends. It has made a banned book list and i believe everyone should read banned books. It has sweet artwork showing babies doing baby activities. Its a great board book.

Je recommande ce livre il est juste parfait. Sur chaque page il y a un descriptif de ce que les bébés peuvent faire, font du bruit, comment ils sont aimés, comment ils sont habillés, comment ils jouent, etc .

No me di cuenta cuando lo pedí que es mucho más grande que lo que suelen ser los libro de cartón para bebés y me parece genial. El material es de muy buena calidad, se ve duradero.
