L’Oréal Paris L'Oreal Feria Pastels Hair Color, Sapphire Smoke, 2 Count
L**
Had to use both boxes for full effect.
Left for about 25 minutes and used the two boxes to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It turned into this pastel blue/lavender color! I’m soooo happy with it! Just be careful of washing your hair with too much shampoo or conditioner because it easily washes out. You have to take quick showers and use little shampoo and conditioner if you can.

Stunning result with Sapphire Smoke
I decided to grow out my graying hair and had my hairdresser do a lot of white blonde foils all over my ash blonde dyed hair to help camouflage the new growth. To my surprise, as the roots grew longer, I could see it was much more "pepper and salt" than I expected. I thought this Feria color might give even more camouflage and I was far more right than I had anticipated. The bleached white streaks have turned a beautiful blue against silvery darker blonde, the naturally silver hair glints through it all, AND, despite the packaging saying the color does not lighten hair, the "pepper" in my hair has indeed lightened to match the darker silver-blonde. I am thrilled! My only caveat is that the supplied conditioner is very heavy, so I will substitute my John Frieda mauve-tinted one and add argan ("Moroccan") oil to my hair for extra shine.

Beautiful beautiful blue!
My hair was already gray that's why it came out so dark but here's a picture. It's the most beautiful blue I've ever seen in my life!

READ BEFORE PURCHASING PLEASE
(This is a review on the sapphire blue)I read bad reviews on this hair dye, and I watched videos on YouTube about it and I knew it was going to be bad but I wanted to give it a shot. BIG BIG MISTAKE.First, let me give you some background about my hair specifically. Prior to using this, my hair was NOT damaged at all. I have bleached it THREE times (using Olaplex) myself, and I have also toned it many times (again using Olaplex). I thought to myself I would purchase this hair dye because everyone who tried out said it washed out in just a couple washes. This is exactly what I wanted!!! I had natural jet black hair and dying my hair blonde was a big change but I was excited to expirent with a bunch of colors. Having black hair in the past it was impossible to ever get my hair any color. I did sooo much research and spent sooo much money to do my hair myself just to lighten it to a level 8/9 and I practically threw that all away after using this product. I will admit it was my fault not looking into, but man it is just really wish they didn’t put this stuff out for sale in the first place THAT’S HOW BAD IT IS.Let me start with the color. All the reviews are correct this stuff washes out SOOO EASILY I had to be sooo careful with the initial wash just so not all of it would fade away! When I was done washing the product out I realized it barely colored!!! The instructions said to leave it in for 20 minutes and I left it in for 45! I tried to blow try my hair on low heat with heat protectant, and it would not dry. This is a sign of damaged hair, your hair won’t dry. It also couldn’t be brushed out it was so tangled! Again, I bleached my hair THREE TIMES and it NEVER got like this. Prior to applying this crap to my hair I added my Olaplex into the mix. Unfortunately it didnt work this time. I waited for the next day just to get it so that I could do a hair mask to hopefully fix it. IT DIDN’T. I have used this hair mask in the past. Whenever my hair felt dried or rougher than usual I used it and it worked wonders! Not this time! I seriously do not know what to do 😭 also after the hair mask i looked at my roots and they were like a level 7 (a little darker than a light brown) !!! My hair is a natural level 10 (black) and I did NOT touch them up prior to using this product. I really am so upset that I have this crap a shot and it screwed me over. Spend your money on splat hair dye or kool aide, never this stuff, at least not in the shade I got.

Mix this with your Blonde Loreal color & no more brassy!
I always go very Brassy, so to get a nice natural blonde color- I mixed 1/2 of this product and 1/2 Loreal Champagne Blonde 8:1/2A. 10 mins on roots and 10 mins extended down the ends. My hair came out looking beautiful and natural blonde with no brassyness at all. Some of my highlights came out very silver, but after a good wash they have toned down. Love the combination of products to get a truely Natural Looking Blonde.
