Nova - Volume 1: Origin (Marvel Now)

Okay without spoilers I will say this, the character of Sam Alexander has been dragged through the dirt by fans which I believe is only due to the love the fans have for long loved Nova Richard Rider.The art is great and the story is a nice little origin that gives us a look at another group of Novas with a few little cameos, as a long time comic book reader and graphic novel collector I enjoyed it.

I liked this graphic novel but I'm certainly not hooked enough to buy any more of the series. There was also a large rip down the spine when it arrived, which wasn't a dealbreaker but was a bit of a shame. This does give a good bit of background of Nova's origins for those embarking on All New All Different Avengers so it's good for that

So I know that some fans that dont like this book.I understand that but its no reason to say this sucks.This collects the first 5 issues of the series and its off to a great start. We get a new nova and he is the last of the corps.Has i understand this Novas are Black Novas, diferent from the previous Gold Novas. We dont know anything about this diferent corps but its been very good so far to read.For those that like sci-fi and space stuff then I asure you that this will blow your mind

Really great artwork, a good origin story setting the pace for a galactic adventure of enormous proportions!!

As expected

This was bought for my nephew who just loves Nova at the moment - He really liked it so I'm happy
