Electric infrared heater 600W Superslim (1cm) Far Infrared Heating Panel, carbon crystal heating element

I have sent this heater panel back because seconds after being turned on the outer layer of plastic-like material began to bulge outwards, which was quite disconcerting. I am assured by the seller/supplier (ecoartheating) that the devices have passed safety testing, but I just could not trust it on the wall. It's entirely possible I had a faulty unit and the surprise bulge feature is not common to all of these heaters.The unit I received differed slightly from the one pictured in that the trim was white, not metallic. The overall impression is of a whiteboard with a power cable, so be careful not to let small people draw on it. The heat given out is actually fairly substantial -- especially if you're close to it -- and the warmup time is measured in seconds.This would have been perfect for my uses had it not been for the weird shape distortion. It may well be worth a shot if you need to heat up a cold spot, for example on an exterior wall. If you're not prepared to risk plastic melting I have used one of these very successfully:  VonHaus 500W Low Energy Paintable Slimline Electric Wall Mounted Ceramic Eco Panel Heater . It's smaller, but does a cracking job in an unheated 2x4m kitchen.

Had panel for under 2 monrhs and tha panel is starting to discolour also is getting hotter on the back then it used to. Now not so sure how Good they are

I live in one room during the winter and this heater has helped with the cost of staying warm.Also it is a gently heat and the right size for the room.V Good.

A little difficult to hang a little more lee way on the brackets would make it easier. Very good heat output for a small bedroom you carnt go wrong with this, and looks good on the wall

Worked fabulously for 2 years than started to warp slightly at the top of the panel, as shown in the picture, and producing a strong solvent smell. Try to contact seller and after an initial respond I have got no reply at all to numerous emails. Tried to contact the maker, Micro Energy Solution, claiming their 5 years warranty and had no response either. To avoid.

Excellent heater and service keeps bedroom warm and not a dust particule in sight.

Doesn’t heat the room at all. Has doubled my electricity bill!
