If you do a retrofit or want to smarten your switches, that's the product you'd need. (You'll require a neutral to use this though. ) I have used a couple of those and it also works as a hub for Sonoff R5, wireless switches. It fits to 35mm backbox. Pairing with eWelink is straightforward. Push and hold the button and follow the instructions. Good product in overall.

I’ve used previous versions of Sonoff switches, but this Mini R4 is a massive improvement just based on the size alone. It is absolutely tiny. If you live in a UK house with those annoying shallow 35mm back boxes, this will not fit, you will need 47mm and most of the house will not have neutral in the light switch, so would suggest for no neutral sonoff smart switch. I managed to tuck it behind a standard light switch with room to spare for the wires. Setup was a doddle via the eWeLink app, and it discovered the device immediately. I really like the 'detach relay' mode—it allows me to use the physical wall switch to trigger scenes without actually cutting the power to my smart bulbs. Just remember: you do need a neutral wire at the switch location for this model, so check your wiring first. Highly recommended for a stealthy smart home setup. We had issues after few months but the sonoff customer care was helpful and they helped accordingly to resolve our complaint.

I used this to replace a dusk-to-dawn sensor on my outdoor lights. Although the Sonoff unit itself is very compact, I needed to install a deeper surface back box in my garage because the additional light switch I fitted was quite deep. The wiring instructions were clear and easy to follow, making installation straightforward. Connecting it to WiFi only took a few seconds, and the app is simple to use. I can control my lights with multiple time schedules or switch them on and off instantly with a single tap. Great value for money and works perfectly.

I put this behind a lamp in the living room so I could control it with Alexa and Google Home. Setup through the eWeLink app was straightforward, took about ten minutes to get it connected to the wifi and linked to my voice assistants. It works reliably and I've had no issues with it dropping off the network. The switch itself is compact enough to fit inside the lamp base housing, which was important for keeping things tidy. I also set up a couple of schedules through the app so the lamp comes on automatically in the evening. For the price, it does exactly what you'd want a smart switch to do. Only thing I'd mention is the instructions could be a bit clearer for anyone not used to wiring, but if you've done basic electrical work before it's simple enough.

Nice and small, really good build. Used this to replaced failed outside light timer and working perfectly with home assistant via eweelink cloud. Job done.

Very simple to set up and works well most of the time, but does keep becoming unresponsive. I have one of these mounted in a weatherproof junction box which powers my outside lights. It's linked to Home Assistant and every 2 or 3 weeks it becomes unresponsive and I have to turn the circuit breaker for the outside lighting circuit on and off to reset the device.

What an excellent little smart switch, converting my old passive hall light into a smart light, able to control using the existing switch and via my phone (via app or Home Assistant or Alexa etc..). Simple to fit if you are happy with a little bit of electrical work and have deep back box behind the switch. Was fitted and working within about 30mins and setup with some clever routines to turn on at sunset if no-one home but do nothing if someone home (Home Assistant automations). Connection to WiFi straight forward (2.4G only). Smallest smart switch on the market currently I believe, well built and looks robust. So far, can recommend.

Si inserisce facilmente dietro gli interruttori tradizionali o all'interno delle scatole di derivazione, rendendo l'installazione discreta e pulita. Ho installato i cinque moduli in diverse stanze, collegandoli a lampade e a un ventilatore, e il processo è stato sorprendentemente semplice seguendo le istruzioni fornite. Una volta configurati tramite l'app eWeLink, la loro affidabilità è stata impeccabile. La connessione Wi-Fi è stabile e la risposta ai comandi, sia tramite app che vocalmente con Alexa o Google Home (che uso regolarmente), è quasi istantanea. La possibilità di creare scenari intelligenti e programmare timer ha aggiunto un livello di automazione che non pensavo fosse così comodo: ora le luci si accendono e spengono automaticamente in base all'orario o alla mia presenza. La funzione "e-WeLink-Remote" è un plus non indifferente, permettendo un controllo ancora più versatile, anche se personalmente trovo l'integrazione vocale la più usata. La compatibilità con vari tipi di interruttori esterni (momentaneo, a levetta, ecc.) lo rende estremamente flessibile per diverse configurazioni. In conclusione, il SONOFF MINI R4 è un prodotto eccellente, versatile e affidabile per chiunque voglia avventurarsi nel mondo della domotica o espandere il proprio sistema esistente. Il pack da 5 offre un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, permettendo di trasformare più punti in un'unica soluzione. È un acquisto che consiglio vivamente a tutti gli appassionati di smart home.

Connecting to network is super fast.. Very easy to fix inside existing switch board Load can also be switched on/ off using existing switch..without distrubing scheduled timings. Good added feature on this version.

Zaten sonoff ürünleri kullanıcısıyım…. Çok küçük ve kullanışlı…. Priz yuvalarına uyumunda herhangi bir problem yok tavsiye ederim

Die WLAN- Schalter konnten bei uns dank ihrer Größe ganz leicht eingebaut werden. Man sollte aber vorher schauen, ob wirklich genug Platz in der Dose vorhanden ist. Einbindung ins WLAN ohne Probleme. Über die APP einfach steuerbar. Preis- Leistung passt auch. Wir können die Schalter weiter empfehlen.
