I’m loving this fixture! I absolutely love the bronze finish look of household fixtures. I have been slowly trying to switch over to it from gold and silver to this beautiful bronzed color. My sister knows this and got it for me! I am quite pleased with both the look and feel of this ceiling light. I honestly expected something of far less quality when I felt the lightweight box, but was very pleasantly surprised to discover that there is nothing cheap-feeling about this at all. The globe itself is quite thick glass and feels firm. Obviously, it is fragile because it is a glass globe, but at the same time it does not feel thin or easily breakable at all. The base of it is indeed metal and the bronze color is the exact color that the photos show and that I would typically expect if I were to pick something like this up at a hardware or home store. The instruction booklet seems basic, yet detailed enough that someone who knows what they are doing should have no problems whatsoever setting this up. That said I am going to leave that aspect to the professionals that are already doing some work around the house. I will be sure to update this review should anything change, but I do not foresee any issues whatsoever. I am pleased with both the look and the quality!
