Great paper and good value

This paper gives such a good effect with chalk pastels - makes drawing fur on animals so easy!

I lo e this paper and always use it for soft pastels

I hated this to start with but once I knew how to approach it and use the correct crayons it was much better. I have just finished my first painting and even if I say so myself, it's not half bad.

I was introduced to velour paper on a pastel workshop and loved it. I’m still working out how best to use it, but enjoying the journey. It has astonishing fixing power: the pastel doesn’t budge once it’s down. I took part in a livestream SAA workshop yesterday and used the black paper for the first time, quite a learning curve.

This is the first time I’ve used velour paper and I was amazed by the result. Soft pastels blend well. Can take several layers. Can highly recommend

OK for placing down singlke layers, but I found awkward for blending and not my cup of tea.

I bought this for my wife who is an artist. Her favourite medium is pastels and she has found this pad to be ideal for her needs.

Haven't used it before, tried it and I really like it.

Compré este producto porque estaba rebajado. No he trabajado con esta superficie, y por el precio me pareció buena oportunidad para experimentar. Los tonos del papel son bonitos, pero el papel es delgado, lo que me hace pensar que no funciona muy bien con medios húmedos. El paquete llegó antes de la fecha, así que en general considero que fue buena compra

Tolles Papier für Pastellarbeiten. Nimmt auf Grund der Struktur sehr viel Farbe auf und man kann wunderbar auch mehrere Schichten übereinander legen. Die Stifte dürfen nur nicht zu sehr mit der Spitze aufgedrückt werden, da man sonst die samtige Oberfläche abkratzt.
