Does not work well
This product does not work well. The air bubbles are intermittent. Even when it's in direct sun, it cuts in and off constantly. What's the point of this. A waste of money!

Helpful
Best for smaller ponds than what I have, but held me over & still in use until I do not have enough sunlight for winter. I purchased electric airstones for larger pond such as mine for winter & a filter with water fountain feature, so will remove this little one until spring when I get more full time sunlight. But, for spring/summer months, will rely on it again. It's just enough working along side with my filter & fountain as long as I have more sun. Fall is here, still it works for the moment. Love how quiet it is. My minnows love playing in the gentle bubbles. 🥰

Works great
Started bubbling right away, and keeps working. Might buy a 2nd to help better aerate our kiddie /dog pool!

Has a potential.
The solar aerator appears to be of good size for a small pond. As per the picture the top part of the water aerator is covered in a solar panel. The solar panel is about 6" in diameter. The underside of the aerator has a connection for a hose of a good length which can be cut to size and the bubble stone can be refit. The aerator starts working when it is placed in water. It floats with just the solar panel sticking up above the water's surface. It appears to have a tiny steel rod sticking out from underneath which I believe acts as an on/off sensor. Once placed in water and the solar panel is charged the aerator works by releasing bubbles for about 10 seconds and then stops for about another 10 seconds and the cycle repeats itself. It worked through the day and continued to work once the sun has gone down and it even worked on some overcast days. While it worked it did its job and kept the water in the pond aerated. Now the bad part is that it only worked for 6 weeks and then stopped working all together. I tried recharging it under a full sun and also under a bright bulb for a prolonged period of time with no avail. One other bad part is that the hose comes off every so often and needs to be refit. It would have been a good product if it worked. Otherwise, it is a relatively expensive paper weight.

Worked for a few days
Seemed pretty cool, running periodically and drifting around my pond. Then it quit working and broke my heart. Waste of money.
