Average, typical, ordinary.I thought this was going to be more but it wasn't. It was quite long winded too that I started just skimming parts including the sex scenes which were so repetitive and dull. There was a lot of him going down there where she's hairy/ unwashed/ sweaty/ just ew!Besides that putting me off, other things bugged me. He lived in a mansion so what she washing her clothes in the sink with hand soap and drying them on the radiator?And why - and it's not just this book or this author - why can no woman control her urges but the men could hold back no problem? I'd love to read a real scenario where women's legs don't give way, where she's not a simpering begging mess. Or meet one of these men that have this super stamina and strength they can hold out for days!

The love the way Alice Raine writes, she is descriptive and sets the scene perfectly. I don't have to imagine the surroundings, characters feelings, looks, what they are wearing - it's all there. Sometimes too descriptive when you're waiting for the plot to progress and you just want things to move along a little.Predictable story line, but then the majority of these erotic romances are. I loved Sean in the beginning of this book; loved Allie calling him names under her breath like Mr mean and moody. I need humour in my books and this did have me chuckling a few times. You could feel the sexual tension between the two MCs. Sean came across as a very dominant character in the beginning but by about 75% his character had flipped 180 and I just felt like the writer didn't stay true to the character. I like my characters mean, moody, sexy, dominant, commanding, controlling and he turned into a bit of a pussy cat (but was still a tiger in bed) a bit weak willed and neurotic. I was constantly shouting at him in my head to stop being pathetic.I get the reasons why he was uncertain of his feelings; I just don't think they were enough to put him off relationships for 10 years. Nor do I think they were severe enough to make him this way in the first place.All in all it was an enjoyable read, just missing something, like angst, troubled past, the usual hang ups in these novels.

And would probably have given 5stars but after reading Alice's first series which is one of my all time favs then I felt it unfair to give it the same rating when I loved untwisted more than this (if that makes sense??!!)Allie & Sean meet when Allie has to cover a cleaning shift for her best friend. After both hiding the attraction and Sean basically being a huffy ignorant twat, they finally succumb to each other and it progresses from there. *Passion and fireworks alert!!!*Sean has had tragedy in the past and from that he became very guarded which is understandable!All comes good in the end, until the epilogue and that's when the cliffhanger hits!!!!!I'm off for book 2!

This book was OK. It wasn't as enthralling as Fifty Shades, as all the tags I see for it have made out. Typical lust story involving a rich and ridiculously gorgeous guy and an "average girl". There are so many spelling and grammar mistakes it drove me mental. The proof reader clearly wasn't on form that day.

I liked this read. The main characters are well suited apart from polar opposite jobs. I did think that the author slipped easily from American to English even though the characters are English for example she used the term ' jerk' this isn't really a name an English person would use. I did enjoy the read and will be reading the next instalment.

After reading the untwisted series and really enjoying it, I had high hopes for this read. Unfortunately it was a total let down. Written in a different style for a very strange reason, I took over 2 months to read because it was so boring! Complete let down.

I like the way this story unfolded I could not put it down.It appeal to my romantic nature cannot wait for next book in the series.

Great start to the new series! Cliff hangers.... Grrrrrrr I need to know what happens next! I hope Sean can resist and him and Allie win out!!Can't wait for the next one! February is tooooooooo far away!!
