This is my second time using Beetles and here's what I personally recommend... don't buff your nails. Push cuticles back and clean them well with nail polish remover before applying the base coat, but don't buff them. Yes, this means they will come off sooner, but when they do they pop off in one piece! I'm a stay at home mom of five young boys and wash my hands a fair bit throughout the day. I do use gloves for washing dishes. For the first set I did, I didn't buff my nails and they lasted beautifully for about 8-10 days. Then, all on the same day one nail chipped and then one by one I could easily pop the rest off. My nails were perfectly clean and undamaged underneath and I didn't have to deal with a fiasco of acetone!Then the second time I did my nails I made the mistake of lightly sanding/buffing my nails with a filer, thinking it might help them last longer. They did not last longer--well at least not in nice condition--and came off in pieces. The parts that stayed on were a pain to get off. Plus after I was done using acetone and scraping it off my nails didn't look very happy, they were dry and well...scraped :(I personally don't like dealing with acetone (the mess, the risk of spilling on our wood floors, the chemicals, and the time) so I will never again buff my nails! I will leave them smooth so I can enjoy those 11 or so days of perfect nails before they easily pop off whole, rather than chipping in parts and looking awful for a few days until I take the time to do the full acetone process. Just my two cents!Now my opinion on these particular colors: The Pink Angel collection is fun, bright, and girly. I really love the color of the second-to-last mulberry pink in two layers - it's a perfect hot pink (first pic, right hand). 3 layers gives you more of the true mulberry color which is also very nice but deeper (second pic, left hand). I added one layer of glitter before the top coat.One of the glitter colors in the Pink Angel collection has a base pink color in addition to glitter, the other is a base of clear with darker pink glitter. It gives a few fun options for layering!

Very very very pretty and because it's gel a little goes a long way. It don't air dry so you have plenty of time to make it look nice! They last till I take them off there is no smell at least that brothers me they arnt sticky at all bottle size I'd small but a little goes along way the polish is amazing quality

Love the pretty colors for my home gel kit. Bought these for Christmas and was super excited to use the fun glitter colors for NYE, the Red for Valentines Day, and the green and gold for St Patrick’s Day. I was pleasantly surprised that this lasted through several holidays and gave me cute colored nails to show off to my friends! The gels is the right thickness and applies evenly and smoothly, it’s not too sticky. The bottle size is great.

Love the smoothness of the paint but the colors don’t quite match the picture. They are still pretty colors! Seems to last longer than other paints.

My addiction to Browns goes back to when I was in high school. It was difficult in the 70's to locate Brown nail polish, but when I did located it. I would buy several bottles so I wouldn't run out. I've never counted how many bottles I have (it would be embarrassing). When I came across this collection I had to have it.I've been waiting a couple of days to change the polish to show the new collection. I love these browns!! I have a lot of Beetles products. Each prep and layer & color are all Beetles products. In collection I chose for a background color of the darkest the 967 which is more like Dark Chocolate Brown I applied two layers. Both layers went on evenly and smoothly. The pinkies have 963 which is a clear coat with gold glitter I used one layer over the background color. After applying the gold I did take a narrow brush and forced the glitter a little thinner, that way they were more even looking. Each layer I used 90 seconds to cure.I like that the bottles have the cap to the bottle with the number and color swatch of what is in the bottle taking out the guess work. The color is true to what is in the bottle. The bottle holder is plastic but does a great job of keeping the collection together. The bottles are a bit smaller than usual but there is plenty in the bottles for multiple applications. The brush is blunt tipped and the bristles are tight. The bottle neck is the perfect size for gripping.If you like Browns then I highly recommend this collection to you.

Colors are about the same however it does take time for this type of polish to dry. I noticed mine came with debris as well despite barely using it.

Love this brand. Small bottles but last forever, always be careful to not overfill your cuticle because it can cause irritation but that goes for almost all gel polishes. They are pigmented and usually only take 1-2 layers needed. Rarely ever chip and great for nail designs.
