AD card reader does not read cards

After inserting this ribbon cable and getting the galaxy tab s to charge again i thought this had fixed my tablet.once i put the tablet back together and turned it on, i realised the home button wasn't working. after reading about how the white like on the ribbon cable needs to line up with the gold line on the motherboard when re inserted i tried to wiggle that thing around as much as i possbily could to get the ribbon in the connector more to line up. it just doesn't fit.in the end after getting a bit of charge back in the battery, i put the OLD original ribbon cable back into the tablet, luckily now that started to charge again and the white line lined up perfectly and the home button works again.A bit disappointing as i opted for this item over other as it had a higher price tag, so i assumed it might have been better quality for longevity. clearly i was wrong.

I had a mangled usb charger port and this replacement worked a dream. Now I can charge my tablet and use it. However, I didn't realise until it was out of the returns period that the micro SD card doesn't work. Working SD cards can't be read , it just doesn't see them. I've tried reconnecting the ribbon connectors a couple of times - but no go. So, fine for charging, not so fine for managing external memory!

My tablet had been dead for a year. I thought it was the battery so replaced it and it was working fine until I went to charge it and well... it didnt. Looks like the problem was the charging port in the end. Bought the replacement part, fitted it within 5 minutes and boom, charging as normal, SD card all working. No problems. My tablet is now fully functioning.

Das Erste Kabel war deutlich lädiert und konnte alles außer Laden (Data+ und Data- nicht durchgehend), das Zweite und Dritte Kabel alles außer SD-Karten lesen(Pin 1, 4/2, 5 kein Durchgang). Besonders mutige können zwischen den Pins der SD-Karte und dem Rest (Pins hier haben keine Funktion) das Kabel durchtrennen und die funktionierenden Hälften zusammen verwenden, neu Isolieren nicht vergessen. Hier ist aber Geschick gefragt und ich hafte für nichts.

Assez simple pour le remplacement d un port que ma fille avait cassé .... le mini USB a un sens de branchement ,,,, a redonné vie à ma tablette. Ras si ce n est que depuis à l ouverture de ma pochette la tablette qui autrefois s allumait toute seule ne le fait plus. J imagine un connecteur que j ai mal remplacé mais pas bien grave. Je ne re démonte pas tout de suite...
