I just received this product today, and I am very pleased with it I love the wood finish on the calendar blocks. And all of the weekdays, numbers and months are not missing at all. And the holder holds plenty of pens and pencils too.I would recommend this, and I will definitely get it again.

Meets expectstions

Mostly well-constructed and a unique design. I wonder about the measurements, though. The cubes are very loose compared to other calendars of this type. The stamping is often uneven, crooked, poorly impressed, or any combination of these. When I bought this, though, I planned on painting it (so the bad stamping isn’t a huge issue), hence I like the unfinished wood. I’ve already modded the not-quite-deep-enough pencil area to better support scissors and rulers.

This is a lovely little product that I'm using on my desk at work. A bit of a pain at first, to both remember to switch it over every day & the physical act of doing it is a bit awkward. But I've had it a couple weeks now & have gotten used to it. Some of the wood pieces fit rather tightly so pulling them out & putting them back in requires a bit of finesse. For this reason I don't try to put more than one wood piece back in at the same time, or one is likely to get caught somehow.The only unavoidable & minor downside can be seen in my attached pic. Some of the day/month blocks have lettering on all 4 sides, which causes some days to have another day that will show on the top side of the day block, while the current day will be facing you head-on. This doesn't really bother me, & I've never had anyone look at it on those days & appear in any way confused.Another little thing to keep in mind, is that this is unfinished wood & therefore prone to flake off little slivers whenever you change the date. This would likely be amended by a light coat of lacquer or other sealant. But I mean a LIGHT coat, as again, the fit on some of these is tight so you don't want to add too much bulk & make the blocks even more likely to get stuck.Overall I'm still very happy with it. People always compliment it & ask where I got it.

I do love it as a pen holder on my desk, and it is very sturdy. However, as you can see in the photo, the days of the week could have been placed better. There are four sides to the block, and instead of putting the days of the week on opposite sides, they were next to each other. This drives me a little crazy, but not a huge deal.

This was perfect for my desk, where one of my remote-learning children is set up. We can change the date so they know which work to do online. The ink on the blocks seems very sturdy, not likely to rub off or fade (I even scratched a letter just now to see). The lovely smell of fresh cut lumber has faded somewhat, but that's okay. I love that it is raw wood. I'm tempted to stain it when I have the time, but it's definitely pretty as-is. The container is really big, which I like, because I can fit a bunch of pens, highlighters, a pair of full-sized scissors, and a small bottle of hand-lotion in the space. Would definitely recommend, and if I had another desk to put it on, I'd buy another!

I've had this since September 2021 (it's January 2022) and it's perfect! I bought this for my desk at work. It's great quality and it holds a lot of pens, pencils, and markers!

I thought the Pen holder was bigger. There is spaces between the walls and the blocks. So they knock out easily.
