Easy to install
Bought it as a replacement for standard unbranded one which didn't meet any security standards.Installation was easy, even I didn't do it before.This lock looks sturdy and fits perfectly.The most important thing for me it's not as easy to open it without key as the previous one.

Still a very decent lick
As other reviews have mentioned, the hollowing out of the internal handle seems a miserly cost-cutting move. However the lock is otherwise sturdy and well constructed. One word of warning - the staple is not identical to earlier versions (it’s an improvement on them) so if fitting this as a direct replacement then some adjustments will be needed.

Very dificult to cut to the size of your door

Such a shame as it is let down by the screws
I bought this lock as a like for like replacment of existing lock ad I didn't want to have to cut in new holes etc in the door.The lock itself is solid and weightly given impression of strength and security. It has a good feel and the key turn and latch mechanism is nice and smooth.However I have given it a 1 star. Why? Because the screws that it came with I felt were off very poor quality, the metal was so soft that the heads were rounding off, ans one of them did round off completely, the one holding the key barrel in to the back plate.It took me about approx 5 hours to take that screw out. It was totally rounded off!I then used the screws that were originally in the old lock that I was replacing which I could see were much stronger and the head was perfect still. So either the screws they supply have changed or whoever initially installed the old lock decided to upgrade the screws themselves.Cos of the approx 5 hours of stress I am giving 1 star.
