Absolutely fine, excellent value, bought for two standard lamp shades my daughter couldn't use because wrong hole size, used a few few dabs of superglue around perimeter and held strongly just using one piece, although these a are thin if bonded or fixed alropund they are very strong, although probably for reassurance I will pop in three pop rivets around perimeter. now got 8 spare for future.Update: now fitted and decided pop rivets not needed , superglue did job fine

These are great value for money and are ideal for the job. If I'm honest they are a thinner metal with a lesser quality finish than those I had years ago but they do the job, so from my perspective they are a great buy.

Not as thick as ones I've purchased elsewhere in the past but seem to do the job perfectly well. I think they're still good value at the right price.

Excellent value. Now an old lampshade has become useful and fits base fine. Used 2 rings to stabilise shade - have 8 left for future use. Company and product very good.

Simple product fixing an all to often occurring problem due to Britain's refusal to join the European electrical standard. (Rightly or wrongly)Ikea don't seem to sell, or supply these with their products. However surely they know that their light shades wont fit without one!Fit the light shade as usual just pop one of these in the shades fitting to make it narrower. Easy. Found some that where plastic but as the lamp shade was quite heavy I wanted one that was up to the job.Delivered quicker than stated and came well packaged.

Good but little less sturdy

I had 3 lightshades that all had broken plastic spacers, these seem to get brittle over the years until they finally crumble.I have now replaced them with these and worked a treat. So much better than plastic ones as these will last.Cheaper than buying new lightshades.
