Too small for 4/4 cello
This was a beautifully constructed bag and had good padding for a gig bag, but I couldn’t get it to zip all the way around my 4/4 cello. Overall it was just too tight a fit and would put undue pressure on the bridge to force it. This would be a great bag if it was just a bit larger.

Good seller.
This is just what I expected. Works well.

High-quality feeling, reasonable price
We needed to replace the bag for our son's cello, and this bag was close to the original one. The materials seem decent, and importantly, it has a hole in the bottom for the cello to rest, instead of destroying the bag or zipper (like our last bag).Time will tell on durability, but zero complaints after the first month!

best cello gig bag!
Superb case. Don't hesitate to buy it if you're looking for a great gig bag. This is my 2nd Protec gig bag. I have one for electric bass that I also use constantly. The 2 outstanding features of the cello case are the zippers and the 2 bow case that fits inside the bow holder compartment. The bow case will be great if you need to take your bow(s) to be re-haired or just want to bring along spares e.g. for recording sessions.Protec zippers are the most well made of all the cases I have for my instruments, even more so than the Reunion Blues. They're very fast and never snag at all & perfectly aligned. If you do many gigs and need to move quickly from venue to venue, you know how important that is. This company "gets that" in spades & you can see how they accomplished it in the design. The case opens fully for easy removal and entry. another important factor in running from gig to gig, venue to venue.I think what I'm trying to say is that this case works with you 100% and does not obstruct or fight you. it's clear too that this case will last for many years. At first I thought that it may be "pricy". But when it arrived and I saw the overall craftsmanship and how well thought out it was, I have no problem recommending this case to other cellists, without hesitation..

Does the job
It covers the cello but doesn’t provide much padding. I like how the zipper isn’t in the middle of the sides and the cello sits completely in the case bottom. The zippers glide nicely. My biggest complaint is the straps. They aren’t very comfortable and chafe. I’ll probably look at getting a different soft case at some point when supply isn’t an issue anymore.

Finally my cello feels safe!
I have been looking for a good case for my cello a while back. I take it frequently to my university for lessons and rehearsals. I had the silver series of this case before but I kept bumping into everything and I didn't like that. The silver series does not have any padding. The Gold Version on the other hand has a nice thick padding and the cello feels safe inside. During my search for a case, I was hoping to find images of the inside of this case, but found none. So now I have decided to share a picture of my case and the inside :) I hope this helps other people take a decision.I got my case yesterday and will use it today for the first time, but already I can tell this case is sturdy and protects well. Since this case is thicker and weighs more, I added a bit of extra padding to the straps and the rear bag of this case so I can feel even more comfortable. :)

Great bag, protects well
The bag works great. Protects well and has a lot of handles which makes getting it in and out of the car easy. Only thing I find slightly annoying is that the pocket where you put your binder or book is behind the backpack straps so it's a little difficult to get in and out. I didn't mark down a start though because it was cheaper than many less worthy alternatives.

Sheet music pouch at rear is super convenient.
Nice design and well made. Material is a little heavier gauge than other Gig bags I've owned and seen.

No está igual al primero de este modelo que compré hace unos años
A pesar de que hay un lugar donde se puede poner uno o dos arcos, la funda llegó sin el estuche removible que esperaba. Creo que los arcos no van a estar tan seguros ya como antes en el modelo original.

What I wanted
Bought it for a full size Fender bass guitar. Fit perfect. Lots of storage and seems well made. Good padding.

Not worth it
Very flimsy and disappointing. I returned it

I am really happy with the performance of this case
I am really happy with the performance of this case. I love all the pockets and extra handles. My cello is still in tune when I arrive, so you know that the case is doing a great job protecting all the parts of my cello. I love that the double bow case removes completely from the pocket. If I had issue it's that the pocket on the front does get a little heavy and I have to watch that the case doesn't tip over when I put it down. Other than that the pockets hold enough that I don't need to bring a purse with me to gigs.

Good product but I want thicker padding
I bought this cello bag. It’s okay, but I was expecting and wanting a thicker padding. Is there any way I can exchange it for another bag? I’ll pay more $. It’s unused, I have the packaging and all tags.
