Gardman 00903 2 Tier Georgian Flower Fountain - Black

Just after it arrived we quickly planted it up and it should look good when the plants grow.It was quite easy to assemble, easy to fill with compost and easy to plant up but it did wobble mainly at the base under slight pressure.Luckily we had a couple of heavy rocks available to us: so we rested two of these rocks either side of the base to nail the base to the floor and to keep the whole structure upright in a strong wind.The heavy rocks secured the base to the floor but there was still a flex/sway to the tower when a slight pressure was applied to simulate a slight wind. - (We suspect that this flex/sway was due to the thin diameter of the the upright poles).This thin pole flex/sway issue, when under slight wind, means that we are somewhat unsure as to its long term durability especially near to the connections since some other reviews have indicated that there could be a tendancy to break near to the pole connections; especially at the connection between the bottom upright pole and the base.To help prevent a possible metal fatigue problem, (due to any flex/sway), we had already tightenned the connections up, (as much as possible), but it's a concern.That said; with a cost price of £34.81 more substancial upright poles with a wider diameter should have been provided and this 4 star review will be substancially lowered, (if it does break in a short time period), especially if it breaks at a connection near to a pole joint.

Easy enough to put together, until putting the top screw in - it needs a very large hex key. It looks like the leaning tower of Pisa - I have tightened the joins as much as I dare because it feels they may snap. It’s planted up and looks good except for the stupid lean. Time will tell how long it lasts

Their loved their present only thing did not come in an outer box so they saw it before their anniversary on Tuesday as I had it delivered to their house.

I was a little worried about buying from previous comments .... I am so glad i bought , delivered quickly and was very easy to assemble no tools needed .. I have mine full of tomato plants and they are thriving .. Doesn't wobble and is sturdy now full .. Botom layer self waters as i fill top ....

This is a good planter that was easy to put together although I was a little confused at the start as I had to remove a screw to fit the poles and then use the screw for the top small basket. I would have been good in the instructions had mentioned that, bit otherwise it was simple and erected in 5 minutes. It seems sturdy enough and I'm very pleased with it. I can't wait to start planting out my strawberries and petunias.

Contents in box did not match the picture,also when assembled was leaning over quite a lot.Contacted the supplier who was very helpful and arranged collection and offered a full refund

We bought to replace other that we had for several years. Ideal ! We love it and is planted up now.

I wanted it to take a hanging basket but the hanging basket was too bug for the top tier but instead if sending ut back I decided to keep 8t and buy more plants and very pleased with it.Needs clearer instructions on which pole goes where. The larger poles needs to go at the top as we found out.
