If you want really strong magnets that are well-made at an outstanding price, these are the magnets you're looking for. They are also attractively and well packaged so they should arrive with no damage. They'll stay that way unless you're as careless as I was removing them from the packaging. While the packaging and sales information clearly explains how powerful they are, I allowed the magnets to get too close to each other and broke one within moments of opening the package. One of the magnets was fully 5 inches away from the other three and also separated by the plastic spacers they are packed with. As I took my hand off the single magnet it flew across my glass covered desk and broke in two when it hit the other magnets. It may have been traveling at warp speed.Although this was clearly my fault, I remembered the 100% guarantee against breakage that had been advertised. I emailed the company and within hours they had apologized for my inconvenience and prepared the shipment of the complete set which I received two days later. Honestly, I thought they would put one magnet in an envelope and send it through the mail. This company however has a serious customer service ethic and they mean what they say. I was so impressed that I immediately purchased a set of different magnets from them and I will always look to Omega Magnets first before I purchase any magnets.

Just a couple of things to note about these magnets:1) They are smaller than they seem. The length (as stated in the product description) is only about 2.36". Two individual magnets together are only about the size of a larger usb flash/ thumb drive.2) As other reviews have mentioned, they are fragile. You really have to be careful not to let them snap together.3) The ends of the bars seem to be the same poles. So, the poles, rather than go |N <===> S| as you would expect from a ceramic bar magnet, might look something like |N<=>SS<=>N|.Otherwise, they are strong magnets and fun. The quality is exactly what you might expect if you have bought neodymium magnets before. The only reason I did not give these 5 stars is because there's nothing mind-blowing about them (if everything gets 5 stars for being exactly what you'd expect then the 5 star rating becomes meaningless).They are very small. The product description states this, but in order to imagine just how small they are you need to get out a ruler and look at how big 2 1/3" is.

Do your calculations, find a magnetic calculator to determine how strong the magnet is and if it will actually fit your use case.These magnets are strong, but not nearly strong enough for what I needed. I found a calculator and realized I needed considerably more power. Now, this being said, the magnets here are good quality and if you are not burying them in a slab of wood they will definitely provide some good pull. I would give these a higher rating if I had a) not ended up having to return them, and b) if they seller would put detailed strength information in the description. For those two reasons - 3 stars.

Magnets arrived carefully packaged and in perfect condition. I will be purchasing more.Update: I purchased a second pack and they also arrived very well packed and in perfect condition. A heads up to anyone who has never handled magnets this powerful. They are just that, freakishly powerful. As a consequence they can shatter easily if they go flying into each other or something else a attractive. This is not the fault of the seller, it is just how they are. This is hands down the best deal on neodymium bar magnets of this size and strength.

I bought this to use in my Misti. I am so glad I did. This magnet is STRONG. It holds down whatever super tight. The little round ones kept killing each other off in the night. I had 5, then 4 then 3. I don't know what they did to each other but they were killed one at a time! I am so glad I found your wonderful magnets. So far no body has killed anybody else.

These magnets are super strong, which is why I purchased them. I'm not disappointed a single iota. I also appreciated the way they were packaged. They come with plastic spacers between them and are then suspended in foam to cushion them and I assume minimize any magnetic field the box may put off. I would buy these again, and I would certainly buy from this seller again.

The magnets arrived in a thick foam protected box, in excellent condition. The dividers between each is thick and helpful for keeping them separated. Magnets are as described, are very strong, and will work well for my son's science fair demonstration. Because they are so strong, we have inadvertently learned that many table top items are attracted to magnets :)

The magnets are super but fragile. all four broke when the fell to the floor from my desk. They can still be used and I'm not complaining. Maybe if they were a bit thicker they would be less fragile. Do you sell a stronger thicker magnet ? I would like to order some like that. Let me know. [email protected]
