The product is much lighter than the pictures show, and the layers are merged; they do not separate to make different depths of cut-out. You either have to cut all the way through, pick out to the depth you need, or do some tricky cutting. It is very early to say, but I think, based on the feel, that this foam may not last very long. It feels like cheaper foam.This is very much "You get what you pay for"
