Shelter Cats

Outstanding photographs of kittens and cats waiting for adoption at animal shelters. There's even two pages suggesting how to photographcats. Be careful reading the last six pages, Who's Who, which informs the reader of the fate of each kitten or cat. Many of the kittens wereeuthanized if they were at all ill; this information might trouble anyone who cares about cats. Michael Kloth's photographs are stunninglybeautiful and he has also created a book called Shelter Puppies which is also exceptional.

The photos in the book are stunning. Although I am not a cat person, I especially enjoyed reading how Michael; also a dog person, came to photograph these cats. I fell in love on each and every page. An absolute must for any cat lover in your life, or for any lover of animals, like me. Who now envisions a cat in her life someday. The photos are magic. Bless Michael for the work he did for these animals, who only want to have a home and be loved. I am ordering more books for Christmas gifts and I know they will be enjoyed.

The pictures are great. The stories of the cats at the end is the most interesting. I wish there had been more of that but it's still a great book.

I had an opportunity to preview a copy of SHELTER CATS. The photography and the printing of those photos was outstanding! The photos are beautiful and really capture the beauty of the cats, regardless of the envionment that they are in, at least until they are adopted. Anyone that appreciates cats or quality photography should certainly order this book.
