This grease gun tip works great. I've been using a Autozone gun to grease my ball joints & u joints. This year a plastic piece inside the tip broke & I was about to throw it away but my cheap a$$ decided to go looking for a new tip to fix it. I found this & glad I did. Just squeeze the wings, put the tip down & let go. Seems like it locks down well also. Squeeze the wings again & pull off the zerk fitting. Much easier than threading the tip back & fourth then wrestle it off the fitting!

Used this today to grease up the driveline on my Tacoma. It clicked right into the zerks and didn’t leak a drop of grease. I can’t speak to the longevity of a $6 tool, but it’s good so far.

Easy off, hard to get on
I liked idea of dual release levers. However, you must press both to get jaws to open fully.Coupler does release easily from Zerk. However, it is hard to push onto Zerk. You have to press both release levers, push with effort, hold coupler pushed in, and release the release levers. Other wise coupler pops off Zerk.
